    I am disappointed to see the persistence of VGA rather than DVI. According to the page, an LVDS/DVI module will be available. All the tiny LCDs should move to the digital world, too. It would make them a little smaller and cooler.

    Here is the problem as I understand it. Things should turn on and off based on various conditions.

    This problem matches the fundamental function of digital electronics. Your contention that I should do something is silly. The task at hand is easy, yet tedious. You described a design flaw that has an obvious electronic solution. A machine should do it.

    The author of that review does not understand the fundamental geometry of movement. In 3 dimensions, motion can be decomposed into 3 translational directions and 3 rotational ones. The attempted comparisons involving 360 degrees versus 8 directions are stupid.

    I think it's called "exposure." There are many reasonable measures, by distance traveled, by time spent doing the activity, by year of life, by number of people participating in the activity, etc.

    Scientific proof? Science is about evidence and pragmatic proposals describing processes. Reminisce as you please. Science is about consistency with observations, and its conclusions are always provisional.

    I am sick of such mischaracterization of science in the act of making terrible arguments that appeal to how much you dislike attitudes rather than actual observations.

    No, you have a fake religious problem with it. You refuse to acknowledge the great amounts of evidence that are consistent with evolution. You apparently believe that evolution does not act on genitals and mating enough to cause species splits. Such a belief seems difficult to embrace. How are evolutionary process so specific?

    The only carrier I know of in North America with an true "unlimited" data plan is T-Mobile. I don't know how these companies expect a wireless revolution to take place when they are gouging the prices like this.


    The parent evidences knowledge about the T-Mobile plan. EDGE is fine, but way, way behind EVDO and HSDPA.
