A few months back I was playing the Fallout 3 expansion, The Pitt. The game pretty much assumed that you were going to take the nice guy role and not harm a child and have a sense of guilt when that action results in a city of people being enslaved because you pussed out. I played it, went the route the developers wanted me to take and it had the desired effect. The next day I played through it again and played as a bad guy, only it didn't follow the gravity of the good guy route because they couldn't kill children in games (no one wants to be accused of making a child killer simulator). I walked away feeling slightly jipped, because there were no negative consequences. So yeah, such censorship, even a self imposed one can have an impact.
A few years back we had this old, gorgeous house on the edge of town whose owners died and left heirless. One group wanted it razed for nature, another want it preserved. Group B raised millions to relocate it. Long story short, the millions were used to raze it and a strip mall was built. The truth be told beauty is a resource that is only fit for destruction. If you don't agree with that, well, there are a million ass-holes who will be more than happy to do it for you.
All these razed swaths are going to do is become cheap development land that is cleared off at the tax payers expense.
Perhaps you, like the Batman, are for this, but I, The Legion of Doom and Coldwell Banker Investment Group are totally against the destruction of the abandoned warehouse district! It gives this city character and opens up new investment opportunities.
As long as there is something keeping Grandma from posting/sharing 100MB bit maps (maybe a built in conversion tool that changes the format to a PNG without her seeing it) I really don't see the problem with images. I've already wasted countless hours walking people through flickr and facebook and again through whatever new thing that comes down the pike. If it gets them out of the equation that works for me.
I can't think of anyone who wants their banking information put on a P2P network.
I dunno, a lot of small to medium sized business have used wikis to speed up documentation (though employees tend to document in-office jokes more than work related activities). Still it is great for getting QA their best practices.
Oh, I've got it. We'll push the idea of futures in the entertainment market. Hatch, being a Republican, will break his neck trying to push for that kind of deregulation. After 6 years of people blowing countless billion on potential albums and movies the entire market implodes. Two birds with one stone.

Am I the only person who thought about Netscape 4's whiteboard and wondered why this technology is still 10 years behind? At this rate my D&D campaign will never end.
If I were Jewish I'd be really insulted by this. I wouldn't want the genocide of my people compared to getting kicked out of McDonalds for repeatedly setting the restroom on fire.
I'm guessing you have never had a girlfriend/wife/lesbian lover, they eat it up. Mine can waste hundreds of hours and dollars on anything Sims. The office bookcase is literally filled with expansion pack boxes (they make "bonus gift" every birthday and Christmas).
I'm guessing this game is not going to show up on Steam. Pitty, I already have an account setup for her pop-top stuff, would have been nice to have had it in a single place (other than that shelf).

I was thinking the same thing. You see more and more projects (a lot of.NET stuff though) at code.google.com. I'm glad to hear that they have no intention of giving up the ghost.

If I had the points I'd give them to you.

But that 2% were the only ones who really loved Bozeman. Why do you hate Bozeman?
Get rid of your old, unwanted or discarded girls for cash!
Awesome, I've been meaning to get those lead weights out of my car.
Sadly a bell curve is used. If we could just say, "No" to everything we could get a few things accomplished. QA will have none of that.

Honestly, lately going for the obvious MS joke is a great way to get modded down as a Troll.
Already done. They call it Windows Update.

Deep down I've always had a sneaking suspicion that has always been the real goal of political parties.
Insensitive clod! A gamma-ray burst took out my passenger tire last week!
I guess he took the Six Sigma "black belt" literally.
Yeah, I feel guilty for that one.

I knew it Talisman, you are a damned Canadian!

Don't forget HotJava.
Left out the important part, open it up and pull an ESPN. Done.

I seem to remember something called LexisNexis. No? Ok.

At this point the only people not recorded are child molesters living under bridges, oh, wait.
