To actually pursue things would be way to much to ask. Half of us (I'm being reeeeeally generous here) don't even really read the articles, we just read the slashdot summary, with all of its inaccuracy's and mis-spelling (thanks taco we love ya) :-D.... valid effort ... but the best you'll get is mod points.. of which you've gotten and are probably just as happy with.

Personally i think Yahoo has always had a lot going for them .. they should try and keep doing their thing instead of copying Google. Google is a wonderful salad bowl search engine .. but well .. their categorization of things into easy categories has somethingn to be desired. I've alwasy gone to yahoo for stuff when i didn't exactly know what the site was but I wanted to find it by driling down in categories. Yahoo has always been good for that.

    2. If it is never tested in a real court of Law.. then well its worthless. There is no precedent for it and if people realize nobody wants to use it in court, then its just as worthless as all those EULA's everybody just blindly clicks through.

So here's hoping the make the good fight and the GPL comes out on top.

The thing already has a color screen and some memory.. function for calender's, and storing names and addresses and all that jazz. No easy way to hotsync though.. I gotta number tap in everything... (which is the only reason I don't use the calender function, I can stand doing phone numbers.. because they're one and done.. calender is always evolving.)

Anyway thats my rant.. could be offtopic.. but I think a lot of stuff (especially IM function) should go to consolidation.. not seperation of function. The whole seperate devices for seperate (all communications related functions) is just a money sink.
