Why dont you get a sat dish from DirecTV or DishNetwork (subscribe or pirate depending on budget and ethics) and use one of the HDTV receivers they have, I know DirecTV has a couple of HDTV receivers that support DVI/D-SUB out as well as the standard component and s-video. Just plug that directly into the projector, there are only a few channels that are broadcasting HDTV right now, but the difference is pretty noticeable, especially on a nice projector. My boss just got a 9 inch 3 chip DLP installed in his house (130" screen) and HDTV looks schweet on there. I prefer CRT's for the color though.

The only thing you accomplish by restrciction of gun ownership is to take the guns out of law abiding citizens hands. A very common gun found here is the MAC-10, there is no way that you or I could go and purchase one of these legally, the streets are riddled with them however. Why is this? Because of the existence of the third amendment, or because of the deep restrictions placed on people like me that obey the law? Take your socialist crap to australia or the uk where it belongs.

  14. Re:Why shouldnt they on Time Warner Properties May Only Be Available Through AOL · · Score: 2

Amen. When someone makes me start paying for something that was free I stop supporting them. I dont mind paying for something in the first place, but I will never pay for something that was free, and if it's something that I cannot live without I will find another provider before I'll support the entity that was providing it for free. It really doesn't make sense, but don't make something free if you intend to charge for it later.

I will never ever pay for content though, there is really nothing worth paying for out there. I dont pay any of the channels that I watch on TV any thing, I pay a monthly subscription to the satelite company for access, but I dont pay the individual content providers anything. If I thought there was anything descent on any of the pay channels I would get them, but they all suck. Content providers need to realize that they must still rely on advertising to pay the bills because the end user is never going to.

The same thing goes for talk radio, music radio sucks like no other thing has ever sucked before, but I dont even have to pay for the access, the way it should be.
