    The action figures have punching and kicking action. So? What the hell else do little kids do with action figures? I have never seen a kid make his GI Joes hold hands and take a long walk in the park... they fight.

    And Super Strret Fighter Turbo? Please. Show me a kid that can jump six feet in the air and throw a blue fireball, and I'll agree that "Games are bad, mmm-kay?"

    ...the T800 lowered itself into the molten steel at the end of T2... How are they gonna explain that one away?

    Don't get me wrong, T2 is one of my favorite movies. The good thing about the movie was that CG was so expensive and time consuming back then, that they were forced to use more or less real special effects, resorting to CG only when neccessary. This also made the dirtbike/motorcycle vs. semi truck chase scene one of the best. And remember the scene where the T800 peeled the skin off of his forearm to expose the machinery underneath? That wasn't CG, but if the movie were made today, it would have.

    I'm just afraid they are going to (like every other damn movie these days) go way overboard on the CG, and ruin the effect. Linda Hamilton not playing Sarah Connor is going to suck also. Hopefully Edward Furlong will be playing John Connor.

    ...but I do wonder how they assigned the date "of at least 6000 years ago" to this.

    That's the archaeological way. Make up a number, then when you find it to be false later, claim "new scientific processes" have allowed you to determine that it is in fact closer to X years old.

    I bet anyday that the RIAA will sue cisco for making routers that could be used to infringe.

    In other news, the RIAA has filed lawsuits against Intel, AMD, and Motorola, alleging that processors produced by the aforementioned companies are being used to decode illegal pirated music.

    Hook a bunch of these suckers up in the toilet tank. Turbines charge some cells. Next time you are in the bathroom, you've got enough free power to power a laptop, a TV, radio, refrigerator...

    Yeah, that's a bit sick. Maybe a small TV and a webpad though. :)

    It is IE 5.5. It does the same thing on my machine here, while Mozilla 0.9.6 renders it just fine. Also works fine on IE5 for the Mac.
