Curious where you're living Falon, as in the US my understanding is that if you take a photo on public grounds then there's not much the subject (or the owner of, in the case of property being photographed) can do to influence what you do with it later on.
That's what i'm doing, just pushed the cable down into the seam where the carpet meets the baseboard, it's almost invisible except where i've pulled it out to attach to devices
Get a 3g if you can swing it (and get 3g signal in your area)
What with ATT throttling Edge (and the limitations of edge in general) my Edge-only iPhone is pretty worthless for streaming nowadays, even something on the level of 64kpbs music.
Once that's all done, get Pandora and Tuner and have yourself a ball. If you like heavy metal I heartily recommend Braingell Radio via Tuner. (Barring that, set up a Pandora station around Ensiferum)
I imagine assembly type jobs like keyboards don't require much in the way of space or equipment, just warehouse space and benches or a roller line. Probably similar for other things like sewing, painting, etc. You could build a big "Soviet" factory and put a dozen of these operations on each floor
Wayyyy OT, but that's interesting: I had a few entry level classes on VHDL/Verilog in 2005ish and had no idea they were that new--or was iHDL just the dominant hdl at that point?
just fwiw: a co worker of mine has actually endeavored to use as much Edge/3G bandwidth as he can via streaming to his iPhone (several gigabytes at last mention) and so far ATT hasn't batted an eyelash
I had been wondering about sound quality of Sirius/XM. So the bitrate varies station to station?
I love Pandora and listen to that and several other streaming stations at home, but many online radio stations offer lousy bitrate (64 or 128kbps) which, at least to me, is very noticeable in the car with the volume up. I'd be more inclined to go satellite in-car if I knew there would be a few stations that had good playlists that didn't sound like i was listening through a sheet of corrugated tin.
you need to make the process that happens AFTER suggestions are submitted transparent to the employees.
If they get the feeling that the idea box is a black hole, with no feedback at all on what ideas are being looked at or why some of them aren't such good ideas (or are good but impractical, etc) they won't bother making the effort.
People always look at me kinda goggle eyed when I suggest snakes as a good way to keep rodents away, but there really are few things in the average rural environment that exterminate rats and mice so voraciously as a mature ratsnake.
If I had a farm I'd forget the cats and make the snakes welcome
I adore Wychwood, haven't had all of their beers but Hobgoblin is a favorite. I don't recall ever having seen Peeterman Artois in the states but I'll keep an eye out next time I go for specialty beer.
It's true that ales generally aren't the rage, but I think some of the milder microbrewery ales are gaining popularity (the likes of Sierra Nevada, Dogfish Head, Redhook and smaller regional breweries) Then again as an ex-homebrewer my idea of what's popular is probably a hair skewed.
I drink stella when it's on offer for cheap and there's nothing else better, but I do know a lot of people who do feel they're being "fancy" by drinking some other country's bland lager.
Just for curiosity's sake, let me throw this out there: Around here (East coast US) Stella usually goes for anywhere between 6 and 9 dollars a six-pack, or (on average) 4 dollars for 16oz on draft. Anyone care to give me a price-check on what it's like in the UK?
This is just a curious question, if you feel inclined to answer: how do you prove "truth/untruth" in a situation like the OPs, where it's basically the teacher's word against a parent?
In such a situation I imagine pretty much any accusation being refuted by something along the lines of "you/your daughter is lying" or stating that the statistics (which the OP outlined someplace above) are convenient to the OP's bias but irrelevant.
You're not kiddin about the richmond-charlotte corridor (charlotte resident who's driven up towards richmond here) The eastern part of the state south of raleigh and east of charlotte, right up to the sand dunes comes to mind too.
Re your question, streaming over iPhone via Edge is really dicey, but doable depending on your location. If you have a 3G iPhone and can maintain 3g connectivity on your trip you could just plug the iPhone into whatever aux-input your car stereo may have. Been wanting to do that myself to listen to Pandora while i drive, but lately Edge bandwidth just isn't there to stream. I'm not familiar with shoutcast in particular so I don't know if there's a way to get it on the iPhone, but Pandora and Tuner both offer a vast amount of music.
It's likely a regional thing; here in the middle-south you're more likely to hear "walkway" or "front walk" to describe a paved path like that.

What the readers of the feed think: Having a bunch of feeds to follow is a mildly amusing way to kill time
What the owner of the feed thinks: That he's so awesome/important that people want to know what he's doing at all hours
c'mon, everyone knows that when you're taking photos for your myspace, portrait mode is preferable.
Yes, technology is just a tool.
So are the people, in this case.

Epic win

I want online tools that SAVE time, not CONSUME more and more of it.
And here you are on slashdot ;)
To clarify: That was why I didn't get my whopper and don't have any other fb apps installed.
You install a facebook "app" that i'm sure is privy to that information (along with all your other details)
Likewise they'd have to be willfully ignorant to not realize the legality of at least some of it.

Yep, it's bred into the bones of any terrier to chase/catch prey items.
Don't forget your full disk encryption ;)

That truly is amusing to learn :)

Those things never worked for me because I have one strongly dominant eye. All's I ever got out of it was a monochrome image :(
