My only explanation is as follows. Every person in the movie (including Neo, Trinity, etc) is a computer program (AI program) that has been tested to see how "human" can they become...
Maybe the only real people in the movie are the architect and possibly the Frenchmen's wife who tested how much emotion Neo can put in a kiss...
Hence, sentinels being sent are also part of the test, the plot to produce "human", "self-aware" programs... Neo seemed to be close to becoming "self-aware" and maybe he will lead programs in Zion (Trinity, Morpheus, etc.) to become also "self-aware"...
I am puzzled by the following inconsistency in the movie:
In Zion, everyone wears old, worn out clothes... Even the council members have old clothes....
Everything is old and archaic... Yet, when Morpheus's ship (Nebu-whatever) is entering Zion, the woman operator is wearing a white modern cloth; she is also using a very fancy user-interface like we have seen in "Minority Report"...
My question is where did that scene come from?
In that scene everything is fancy, not old and archaic as in other things in Zion.
Is it because the woman operator was connected through her cerebellum into a simulation program (not connected to Matrix, a local simulator) to get a better user-interface? And what we see there is her self-image in that simulator???

You have dehumanized Palestinians in your mind to such a degree that you don't even attempt to think that maybe they have some reason to make them choose death(in a horrible way) than to negotiate for a peaceful agreement.
A month ago I had a conversation with a Palestinian guy(no he doesn't have a beard, and he is exactly the opposite of your stereotypical image in your mind). He told me the story of a second suicide bomber girl. The girl's brother was shot to death in the street by Israeli soldiers the week before, and that week her fiance was killed in a bombing of the Palestinian settlement at night by Israeli planes. At this point, he said, the girl must have figured out that instead of waiting to be the next in line, she would as well go kill herself taking some Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint with her.
The guy said he is against suicide-bombers, he says it has nothing to do with Islam--Jihad--, it is just that those people have no hope whatsoever about their future. Even though you manage to live long enough to finish a college, you won't be able to find a stable job anyway.
This morning, I watched in the news a story about an Israeli operation going wrong, exploding the wall of an house and killing the mother of a nine year old girl. The girl was crying (since you are a racist, to understand the feelings of this little girl, you should picture a blonde haired 9 year old girl with her blue eyes soaked with tears for her mother). Apparently, these were captured and aired by an Israeli TV and the army is pissed off with that TV station.
There is no such thing as good-intentioned-races and bad-intentioned-races. And it is not the case that the lives of people of a certain race are more important than those of another race. Actually, no such thing as a race; we are just bunch of miserable creatures who were not able to figure out for thousands of years how to live in peace. Woe on us.
