What I imagine is that with a disk format this large they can make ultra high quality movies in an uncompressed format so that no quality is lost to compression.
Any law that bans those pop up ads is ok to me. I think all pop ups should be banned and the only ads that should be alowed are small banner ads. Limit 2 per page.
The T-Rex's breath might not smell like rotting meat. A closer observation of the teeth of the T-rex reveals that the teeth are not rooted very deeply in the skull and jaw. This means that either the T-rex was not a carnivore, or it only ate small animals it could fit in it's mouth, similar to the way a snake eats. To catch and kill a large animal would mean ripping it's own teeth out.
The thing is, the "REAL" Enterprise wouldn't really "fly". In many episodes when the Enterprise is getting too close to a planet's atmosphere there is a danger of crashing and burning in the atmosphere. The only reason it's "Flying" is because there is no gravity in space and no ground to fall on. So the idea that other star trek technologies might work because this works is silly because on Star Trek this wouldn't even work.
To be honest I think this is one of the best alternatives I've seen in a while. Electric cars and hydrogen powered fuel cells are fine but there are millions of cars on the road today and millions of people aren't going to want to trade in their investments on another car, not only that, there are a great number of people, myself included, who enjoy a classic automobile and want to keep it running. What we need is a synthetic fuel that will burn in existing engines, carberated or fuel injected, with little or no modification. Even though the Internal Combustion engine is over 100 years old it's still what we depend on. Cars, Lawn Mowers, Chain saws, power generators, trains etc. all have gas burning engines. So what we really need is a Gasoline we can make without oil from the ground because not just the US economy, but the world economy can't handle a sudden shift in technology from gas burning engines to something electric or Hydrogen powered.
.. it has no access hatches or openings of any kind and the only person who can service, or change the toner or ink, or open it in any way is an Epson technician.
.. I guess we'll have to put all our mp3's into ZIP files and name them something like.
"(songtitle)-zipped-rename mp3 to zip.mp3"
The monitor thinks it's an mp3, it can't recognise it so it lets it go. This would work right?
I wouldn't have it at all. First of all my car was made before 1980 and always will be. Unless it's a new truck. But this is almost insulting to the general public. The general public is getting dumber and dumber. Once upon a time most men could work on a car or do repair work around the house, now days he puts on a suit, goes to the office and pays someone else to do it because he doesn't know how. There was also a time when owning a computer ment you knew how to use it. Same problem. The cars get more complex and the manufacturers think that the average man who can work on a 74 chevy can't figure it out. Honestly I prefer the old chevy. It's made with more style and you can customize it any way you want. Welding the hood shut is just their way of taking away our choices. So no, I wouldn't buy a car with the hood welded shut. The same reason I build my own computer and load whatever OS I want on it. It's mine and it will be like I want it.
my car has no computer..

.. I guess I'll have to boost my horsepower the old fassion way with better engine components.
... I remember when I got my first 386. It came with something called PC GEOS. If it's the same type environment then it is a pretty decent piece of software. Unfortuantly I spilt coke on my PC Geos 5 1/4 floppy disks so it is lost forever for me. If that became availible for download I'd go get it.
..if you could write to this disk at the same speed as you could read from it, and do it on the fly, you would not need a hard drive.

Funny. I thought crappy music played on the radio several times a day and overpriced CD's were the cause.
.. does she have virtual tits?
I'm old enough not to post AC dickhead.

** You always get the AGP video card, I want the AGP video card..
* No I called it! I get the AGP video card! Besides they're the same card it's just shaped different.
** Nuh uh! if they're the same then why does it matter? Huh?
* Cause I like the shape better, besides you get the USB keyboard and mouse!
*bell rings*
** I call it next time :P
They patent something that's annoying that I turn off anyway. That is if I even run XP.
This means every AMD chip on earth after the K6 is a weapon.
possibly, but don't we see the new teeth behind the existing teeth in the jaw of a shark? Even though it is possible.

..They're just asking for piracy. Why pay more for the real thing when I can get a throw away disk and copy it?

I installed Fedora Core 1. I really haven't found much of a difference yet.
Since when is this rare?
