Our internet speeds are reasonable so you can remote into the office. In all my years here, I've only found a single human turd and a single syringe laying around.

Tech companies can find experts in any skill they need right here in the US. Any jobs they move abroad are moved to save costs, not because of scarcity of talent.
If I as an individual built such a surveillance network to track your whereabouts across multiple locations, you'd probably want to charge me for stalking. At the same time, you have no objection to a business doig the same, and selling that same info for profit. What gives?
I subscribe to HBO precisely because HBO is not the low-quality ad-riddled turd AT&T wants to make of it.
I was one of the people that contacted HBO years before they launched their HBO Now! unbundled streaming service and told them that I wanted to buy such a product from them.
I dumped AT&T as my cell carrier and later as my ISP precisely because they don't care about what I want to buy from them.
Getting to where I need to be when I need to be there is too important for me to trust to anybody but me. Businesses will always put their interests ahead of mine, and that's unacceptable for my mission critical need.
