I read the slashdots and the diggs of the internet so, are these sources too Google and Apple happy to report on the Windows front? Or is there simply nothing to report?

This makes perfect sense. Now you will be able to have some sort of integration between the DVR app and iTunes to load up your iPod with your saved tv shows...
But now that I think about it, this would cannibalize iTunes TV show sales... Maybe this is all rumor?
Well then maybe I'm completely wrong and should cash in my mod points now. But you are telling me that supporting any whitebox on the street would take no more effort on the part of Apple when developing their next operating system?
No they won't. The whole reason people buy macs is for the stability of OSX. If apple had to start supporting 3rd party hardware, this level of stability would severely drop.
Do people just open an article, do a Ctrl+F and type microsoft to find something 'juciy'? If you would have RTFA you would have seen that the 'Ping Of Death' was mentioned which did impact Windows machines.
Why not make a program that captures the CAPTCHA image on slashdot and uploads it on a webserver for people to read it and enter the text and then that information is sent back to a robot trying to post and then voila!
If you want to catch the latest products about to be released today, check out the rumor sites at 10am PDT, I'm sure one of them will be following it. They currently think the Video iPod will debut today.
The Internet Health Report shows the interruption, and I noticed there is also the "Pending Assingment" as mentioned in these articles. I'm curious as to who this is.
