Coming on the heels of a recent National Geographic survey which plainly states that Gentoo Penguins have lost more habitat, this news serves to reinforce what we've known all along. Gentoo Penguins are collapsing in complete disarray, as fittingly exemplified by failing dead last in the recent Penguin population counts.
You don't need to be an Eskimo to predict Gentoo Penguin's future. The hand writing is on the iceberg: Gentoo Penguins face a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for Gentoo Penguins because Gentoo Penguins are dying. Things are looking very bad for Gentoo Penguins. A recent article put the Antartica Peninsula colonies at about 80 percent of the total Gentoo Penguin population.
