In the end it probably doesn't matter because some more creative googling will find another controller out there that uses an analog stick that came out before the Ps1 and the N64.
Wait, for a second I thought you were talking about Sony. Because I know they didn't "innovate" much with the PS1 gamepad (stolen from SNES), the analog stick? (stolen from N64), CD based games? Turbo-DUO.
By the way, the Ps1 was out before the N64, (ps1 came out december 1994, N64 came out june 1996). But hey, Microsoft copied the Xbox controller from a Volkswagen Beetle =). Im just mad that Microsoft f*cked up Halo, and im never buying an xbox.
EA is entitled to it's own opinion, but Xbox live is one of the best online gaming services I have used since Kali.
Id probably agree with the quality that comes with Xbox live, mainly the voice chat, but I feel this could be done without having a centralized system. They could of course go with a system like they have now, but also make it possible to do multiplayer without using Xbox Live, but they dont.
Still don't know why I am responding to you, since it seems like a troll post, yet it's getting MODed Interesting, oh wait it's anti-MS which means that it's instantly MODed up.
Im sorry if I come off as a troll, but thats how I see it. The problem I have with Xbox is that if I want to play multiplayer, I have to pay 50 bucks to Microsoft every year. In the end im paying for something that I shouldn't have to pay for, because the system is capable of doing multiplayer without having it connect to xbox live. This wouldn't be an issue if Microsoft let game companies make their own matchmaking service in their game, that doens't use xbox live. Ah well, im sorry I wasted your time by making you respond back to me, i'll try not to do that in the future..
The Xbox has lots of problems, and its not just thier console. EA wont do any multiplayer games on the XBox using Xbox Live because Microsoft charges access to those games and Microsoft keeps all the money. Some developers might say that its the best console, but I bet those developers did mostly pc games and im sure the switch over isn't hard. Microsoft has raped bungie (im not the only one who thought the pre-microsoft halo movies looked pretty kickass compared to how the game turned out). In fact id say the only reason why the Xbox is popular is because the company behind it can pretty much throw as much money as they want behind it, they dont innovate, they buy companies who do. Oh and the fact that Microsoft moved my job over to india doesn't help me like them any more..
Here is something pretty similar to what your talkin about. It will download the weather for the area and then it will put a sun or rain or somethin on the toast when it toasts the
bread.
I registered a domain name a while back thru register.com. About 6 months later they sent me an email saying they setup like 4 new domains for me for free for a year, they were all my first and last name with.com,.org, and.net after them.. So id agree with you its a pretty common thing..
Brazil I guess is making every American do a fingerprint test to get into the country as a response to what the story is about. I found it pretty funny..
I live in the U.S. and we had the choice of french, german, and spanish as a language in the first year of high school. They have these classes all the way up to the 4th year of high school. I took 3 years of spanish, but ive been out of school for.. 6 years now and I have yet to really use it. I can probably get by better then others if I were to go to lets say spain, but unless you speak / hear it everyday, all the spanish I was taught goes away fast..
Rolling Rock commercial where the guy gets married, has an austrailian animal tv show type voice in the background, and he opens the bottle of beer with his wedding ring.
Pretty much any of the Budweiser commercials on the radio.. (tribute to the taco-salad maker guy, etc) I think they have done a couple tv ads like this but im not too sure, ive only caught the end of it.
Sierra Mist commercial (Superbowl commercial) where the monkey in a zoo catapults over the wall to the polar bears or whatever it was.
You could probably take.. 10,000 commercials and find only like 50 that were good though, and thats the problem.
I saw a show on TV once that had these guys (im thinking it was in the northern midwest states someplace, wisconsin rings a bell). They would take fairly large remote control planes (probably, 8ft wingspan it lookd like) and put a camera on board. They then would have to fly to a target and take the best picture. The pilot with the best picture won the contest. Pretty interesting I thought.
The win leaves only one outstanding lawsuit over Genetic Technologies' claim to have patent control over methods for researching non-coded, or "junk", DNA.
I don't think you can really say its failing because of that one problem with that one game. Bugs happen in console games, they are just pretty darn rare. I can confidently say that console 'software' is much much more reliable then anything I run on my pc. The only times ive had problems is if i knock over my ps2 when its standing up or something..
Besides, if I was selling pickup trucks full of diesel and fertilizer as a "DIY Truck Bomb"
This guy isn't selling a cruise missle.. If he had a garage sale, with a line of cruise missles for sale, and a hatch on each one that said, "insert explosives here" then it might be a different story..
Like lets say.. Simpsons Hit and Run vs Grand Theft Auto. The new simpsons game is almost like a new skin for GTA, thats how close they are to being alike.
One of my old friends I used to work with went into staples, they had a coupon or somethin where one of the Sony Digital Mavica camera's was like 250 bucks. The coupon said "limit 2", but for some reason the clerk thought this meant, you get 2 for 250 bucks. My friend had paid with a credit card, and walked out with 2 cameras for 250 bucks. A day or so later he got a call from the Staples manager, the manager wanted him to come in and take one of the camera's back. Of course my friend didn't do it, but it was somewhat humerous that the manager called him up and asked him to bring one back..

Is the world somehow a better place if cocacola were to patent its formula for its cola so we could all see how to make it?
See the thing im seeing is that, with trade secret laws, this isn't stopping me from creating anything that I want to, if I do it all myself. If all those were patents, then if I make something, I *might* be using a patent that someone else has, and I didnt' know about it until it was too late. At that point the company / group can then stop me from selling my product because they own a patent on it. Even if its not exact, they still will have more money and muscle in the courtroom and I would probably lose. If whatever I made was a trade secret of some company, doens't matter, I didn't obtain their secret illegally, I made the product on my own.
I guess im just not sure why you want all trade secrets to be patented instead? Don't we have enough patents?

3. The company who is now turning out their own competing super-microchips using IBM's design is allowed to do so with immunity.
So, we should just let these large corporations hire bums off the street to try to steal any sort of trade secrets out there, the bum goes to jail, and the large corporation is IMMUNE. Ya great plan!

Basically if IBM has gone thru lengths to keep the source code to AIX a secret, then they can consider it a trade secret. If you obtained that trade secret illegally, then IBM can legally stop you from creating any products that would use that trade secret, as well as making you pay money if they can prove money was lost because of what you did. If you took AIX, and reverse engineered it, and did the same thing you would be ok. (in the real world theres probably some clause when you agree to use aix that says you can't do that, im not getting into that part of it though). In short if you get the information that some company has as a "trade secret", but you did it in a way that is legal, then its ok. If you got that info in an illegal way, there are ways for the company to stop you from using it.
Im not a lawyer, I just read the faq, I may not have it 100% right, but I dont get paid like a lawyer does either so take it with a grain of salt.
Tell you what, describe to me what the problem is with the tv out. If you've tried "everything" known to man, your video card is probably broken though, and no driver will fix it. In any case, you can't blame nvidia for your problem, they only deal with oems. If you had an XYZ cell phone, and it didn't work, would you take it apart, and call up the company who made the chips? No, you would go to the company who made the phone and sold it to you
So you say your tv out doens't work with the nvidia drivers. Well use the drivers that came from the company who made your card. They will work fine. Stop whining..
