Yeah, with a SIM from 'Free' (a French carrier), I get 25Gb of data a month in the US for... 14€ a month. And it roams with all US carriers, so it's so much better and cheaper than any SIM I could get in the US !!!
Göbekli tepe is THE most interesting archeological site discovered in the last century. There are so many strange and fascinating things about it that it boggles the mind, but to add alien conspiracy theories to it is simply bullshit, as usual.
The onboard software for such a beast, at the very least, should be upgradable only locally. With a wire, or a magnet nearby or somesuch. I understand it will need remote access, but not remote upgrade capability. Doesn't mean it's unhackable, though... sigh.
There are plenty of good cheap phones with removable battery, SD card slot, 2 SIMs, FM radio and headphone jack. Mine is a Wiko View 32, it's excellent, cheap and I bought it for several family members because of it. 140€/$.
Cars kind of feel boring, but if we're honest the modern car is miles ahead of anything we knew in the 1970s. No flying cars however. No hover cars. And the monorails are terrible.
We still haven't cured cancer yet!
I find you unnecessarily harsh. We have electric cars and cars that drive themselves. There are also crazy serial cars that reach 400kph. And one that's reached 1000mph. There are several flying car prototypes waiting for legal approval, but granted, the average joe will never afford them. As for the trains, France and Japan have trains that cruise above 200mph. And 75% of cancers are now cured (more for certain types or if caugh early). Many people have had 2 or 3 serious cancers over decades and a good quality of life most of the time, a huge improvement over the 70s...
In this movement everybody is protesting whatever it is they don't like, and breaking things and beating cops for it. What an awesome philosophy. And of course all paid for by taxes.
Absolutely not. Between hormone treatments (widely practised in the US), added water (illegal, but commonly done), and the type of food (fresh spring grass is not the same as dry corn by-products feed), the milk can indeed be very different, and it is indeed paid differently to the producer depending on its density, quality, etc...
Whether they are system apps or add-on apps from the phone vendor or even add-on apps from the phone company, there are plenty. I just checked and the following can't be uninstalled: Android accessibility Suite, Apps Lock, Calendar, Camera, Carrier Services, Clock, Cloud Print (why the fuck would I need that ?), Contacts, Drive, Duo, eMail, Facebook, File Manager, Files, FM Radio, Freebox, etc, etc...
Some seem essential (calendar...) until you can see plenty of preferable alternatives on the Play Store.
One explanation is that there are basically 2 types of milk: good quality with high cream and low water content, and the opposite. In countries with a history of quality cheese production (France, Italy, etc), low quality milk is used for drinking and high quality for cheese production. In the US it's the opposite, hence the shitty quality of the cheese.
The most insane experience I had there was when I bought small mozzarella balls to use as appetizer. Placed in the middle of a dinner table, after a few minutes, they started doing weird fizzing noises, to the point that all conversation stopped and we looked at them: they shriveled, spitting their water out and turned to grey raisins after 5 minutes. We threw them out.
Anywho, for background tasks you need to go to Settings -> Apps -> Whatever app it is, and hit Force Stop. The same screen also has an Uninstall button to kill the process permanently
Many apps have a disabled uninstall button. Only way to deal with them is revoke all their permissions (but they'll still be running). That sucks.
Anyway, I have a phone with Android 7.1.2, but other phones have the same issue. And yes, a long press of [Home] will bring it up, but there's no 'settings' there, and no disable. They want to force feed it to you, just like the removal of the phone jack and so many other things.
This fucker keeps opening on my phone. I've followed several tutorials on how to remove or disable it, but none work. I DO NOT WANT TO TALK TO MY PHONE. Is that not clear enough ?
Yeah, and about those hacks, I wonder when we are going to start seeing those hackers shot in the balls, knees and elbows, just to send a message that not everything should be hacked. I'm really surprised it hasn't happened yet.
Well, I'm no expert but I just ate"bio"kraut. The meats were without nitrites. They were all grey, but more importantly the taste wasn't very good and seemed very greasy, to the point of nausea. And it was a lot more expensive. Overall not a nice experience, won't do again.
Well, I expect them to treat it with respect and also to the rules I laid down. Now, what did YOU expect? Do you trash every place you rent with the excuse I paid for it, I can do whatever I want?!?
I swear, if Apple says their dick tastes like shit but it's normal, there will still be people lining up to suck it. I mean, after removing every useful connector, putting shitty keyboards, shitty touchpads, buggy software, they are still asking for more abuse, so...
Why would they include Opensubtitles.org ? It's awesome for people who like to watch foreign movies, even if you've paid for the fucking DVD. It's not like a downloaded subtitle is causing a lost sale of... what ?!?
In addition there are some alternate DNSes which block most forms of advertisement. You may have adblock on your computer's browser, and even on your phone's browser, but unless you root your phone, you can't normally block the ads that come through the various apps. By installing an app like DnsChanger and using a well chosen set of DNSes, poof, no more ads on your phone. It's very simple too.
So ? They should make it anyway: if they aren't being inspected because of the shutdown, they can't be fined because... of the shutdown.

See, you can even become president while having none. I'm trolling, yes, but you know it's true: there are many other ways to succeed.
Or maybe invest more in plasma wave linear accelerators which can potentially be much smaller.

I'm glad to know you are italian and not american !

I actually did try a few variations of "how to disable yourself", but just like a long suffering wife, it only gave me the cold shoulder...
Thanks, that worked this time. That's incredibly well hidden as I usually go around all the settings on all the apps...

So, hmmm, is Oracle juvenile with its performance analysis tool, aka perfanal ?!?
