You get your tuner with your HDTV subscription from your satelite TV or cable provider. If you bought an "HDTV ready" monitor (ie sans tuner) ... it as designed for people using cable or satelite. These are cheaper models than those included with an ATSC tuner. Once the analog transmissions stop, you may want to renew your Blockbuster account. Best wishes looking ... perhaps try Google.

  4. Apple's commercial campaign just plain sucks on Why Microsoft Is Beating Apple At Its Own Game · · Score: 0

I think that Apple's advertising campaign is horrible. 2 guys standing and pretending to be computers really belongs in a junior high acting class. The Microsoft bashing is not really effective, either. People already know what sucks about Windows PC, but use them anyways. Windows users have accepted the "quirks" of Windows. If Windows really sucks as bad as it did 10 years, OS/2 would be the main operating system. Windows XP is a decent enough operating system that really isn't compelling enough to dump. People use Apple PCs because they like them! That is what Apple should be advertising ... what is great about the new Apples. Selling your product because brand X sucks isn't really a good campaign. I buy a car because it has x, y, and z features. Not because the other car's x, y, and z features suck! Come on Apple! You don't sell iPods because the other MP3 players suck! You sell iPods because iPods are a great product.

I don't think Ethanol is "The Solution", but an important part in solving the fuel problem. Fuel has become a requirement in this mechanized society we live in. I think having the capability to use E85 or gasoline is important, as it provides flexibility that is important. Brazil is a good example of this, where drivers can use either one that happens to be cheapest. Ethanol is cleaner burner, an important consideration if one is concerned about global warming (me personally, I like things warmer). I would like to know why isn't there an E85 Flex-fuel hybrid that comes technology. Why do we have to choose between flex fuel vehicles or hybrids? Or biodiesel/diesel hybrids?

With that in mind, you would then have more time to perform leisure activities such as job hunting, etc. Once you start to stink and get real funky, your employer may request you to go home and take care of yourself. Be sure to schedule that mandated time off with an interview. Tip: Shower before the interview and not after. I tell my boss my odor is a medical condition and use it to go to "medical" appointments at my convenience (just kidding). But hey, use what works best for you.

Just like scuba divers use bootled O, we should used bottle CO2 in verticle self-contained greenhouse farms. Why spend all that money to bury it like some radioactive by product? That's right folks, I said what should have been stated. Let's think about it. Doesn't the format of the game really make a cool series. Who wants to wait 2 to 3 years for a sequel? After all, the game will change faster than Hollywood could keep up. How would you like to wait over a year for a R vs B ? You wouldn't want to a neither do I. A movie is plain stupid. I want a new show every week. I like the new BSG (Battle Star Galactica) and don't want a movie of it, as it would suck (just like the Star Trek series are better than their movies).

In the old days, their was an emphasis on a general education and then the individual was trained on the job. The author asserts that their paychecks are spent on the local economy. Fact is, so would a local-born immigrant (ie native). Then the author asserts buying foreign automobiles, because of resale value. Any vehicle that is desireable would have a high resale value ... Harley Davidsons for example. Which is interesting as cheap motorcycles are the norm in Asia (along with three-wheeled Tuk-tuks). The bottom line I see, is that we are burning the candle at both ends. The eagerness of companies to focus on the short-term will not build long-term viability.
