Being able to send email to everyone is stupid. Imagine being able to hack into *any* account on a system and then automate emails to everyone to create a Denial of Service attack.Emails should be from the big boss, then disseminated to the little bosses and onwards down to the lowly employee.
Dude,
If you feel comfortable with the old HP, you have to remember that Agilent was spun off of HP back in 2000. Maybe the Agilent one is more to your liking.
I agree. The issues I have a more signal strength. The "sometimes I get them channels" are right at 30%. The ones I get good in Bay Area are 36 (Independent), 54 (PBS), 48 (Spanish), and also 14 (Spanish). The hit or miss are 2 (Fox) and 5 (CBS).
I saw the solution as buying a better antenna or having relay stations. Buying a better antenna isn't so easy for an apartment dweller. There are so many out there and which one is best. The weather, overhead aircraft, etc. are all factors.
Living in an apartment as I do, it is a hit or miss. I never really get all stations. I get 4 stations without an issue. 4 more 30% of the time, and it goes down from there. This is in the Bay Area.
why not just go and buy cable. If you're on a fixed income, every last dollar (cents are worthless) counts.
Intersting thing about hybrid cars. Early adopters were concerned about the environment, while the late adopters wanted to save money on their gas bills.
We all have different reasons. I happen to think that Americans are more honest. Europeans want to appear better than their peers. Do you think a European is honest enough to say they are cheap?
I know I am. I use Linux not because I hate Microsoft, but rather because I can't afford to pay for Windows, then Microsoft Office, then the next software package, etc.
Maybe put things in perspective.
Unless you paid for your work computer, or have to provide IT services for yourself, you should probably use what your given. Most people tend to forget that when they use a computer at work, it isn't their computer.
I use whatever PC I have at work. Once I'm at home, I use what I want... SUSE.
Another option is to start coding...
Sorry this is the world we live in.
If products made overseas had the same environmental rules and regulations, they wouldn't be so cheap. Let's also not forget how much fuel cargo ships burn on a round trip across the Pacific to the US. We can reduce much pollution by buying locally made goods. We should level the playing field by requiring products sold in a country (US or otherwise) have the same environmental controls as those made locally.
Now that we are talking about the environmental controls that need to be put in place, how about labor? If labor controls were the same as in a developed nation... you know the rest.
[rant continues] Would products made in China be so cheap if they had the same standards as us? Etc etc etc
Hi
I just shelved my VIA EPIA-M in favor of an Intel mini-ITX motherboard. I couldn't find a suitable PCI card that would work properly. Any suggestions? Or, should I just leave it on the shelf?:(
Something like A+ certification would be helpful. Just like you have a basic automotive class, there should be something similiar. It should be structured so you can monitor progress and have a test at the end so you can evaluate.
Some people suggest have them using the internet. That should be a resource. Don't believe everything you see online. "It was on the internet, it must be true". lol
I like to get together with Jared and head over to Subway. Instead of sitting at your desk and eating, you need to get outside rain or shine.
Next, you need to stop snacking. Make your desk a no eat zone. It is also more sanitary. With people eating at their desks, desks have become worse than a bathroom.
Best of Luck and see you at Subway.
You would think that in 10,000 years, people would be smart enough to recognize it for what it is. Or, maybe people will just stay as stupid as they are now.:)
The problem is that you are building stress while you are working. This stress needs an outlet. Caffeine in large quantities may amplify this effect. Drink water. Keep a timer handy. Every 15 minuntes, stand up, looking around, stretch to loosen up will be handy. By looking away from you freaking screen once in awhile at something distant will help reduce eye strain. during lunch, don't sit at your desk and work, go for a walk (take a sandwhich if you are hungry). Maybe get a pin-up calendar. Bottom line, you need to un-ass yourself once in awhile. Healthy coding is productive coding. Learn this early and be productive longer, otherwise you will just be another burned-out has-been coder.
Preloading MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows didn't help the competition. Matter of fact, other DOS vendors were excluded if hardware vendors wanted Windows.
That's been their strategy. Next thing you knew it, IE was bundled with the OS. Why would someone go out and buy another OS (OS/2), when the PC already came pre-installed.
Along came Linux, and now Microsoft has to compete with free.
Turn around is fair play.

I think it was the alcohol, but I'm not sure. I recovered some 8 hours later. why is the sun on the west and not the east?

Analayze your own traffic at the point of entry. Wireshark is helpful.

99.8% of EA customers don't care about DRM :-D

Yep. Goes back to where it came from. If they made things out of a green materials, we wouldn't have to return it to them. It is also Darwinism.
This is comment 55.

Why not just store the energy for awhile or so and then release it later?
During 3004-2005 while I was unemployed in California. I tried avery technical skill I had. COBOL was one of them.

I don't know what has changed in Flash, cut this site along with the ABC.com to watch video both crash my Internet Explorer.
Muslim feelings are more important than non-Muslim feelings? Where is the Muslim sensitivity to non-Muslims?
