    and if there is Linux support then basically you will already have OSX support.
    You've never tried to write a Mac OS X driver, have you? If so, you'd know you couldn't be more wrong. OS X uses a totally different different architecture; they are not even close. OS X uses I/O Kit. Not even FreeBSD is close.

    The problem with KDE is that even if you install kde-base or kde-core, you still get loads of apps. Look at Gnome's: clean, uncluttered and ready for you to add your own. That's why I wont install kde; it wont let me choose what I want or don't want.

    I don't think so. That installer simply "carbonizes" it, ie, let's run on OS 9 and 10.2, so I assume it's PowerPC only.
