    DP took it down because they want to stay out of the politics. The article was only posted becuase the admin who did so bypassed the voting system for articles in order to publisize his political stance. Or so I've been told.

    Debian is already ported to the IA64 -- not sure about the number of packages ported yet, but I know they intend to release the new 3.0 (woody) with a IA64 port.

    I'm running gibraltar -- does anyone else, what do you think? It's cd based and creates a ram disk for all the config, saving them to floppy on shutdown. I got it running in 1/2 an hour, no trouble.

    With Frank Darabont's The Majestic being tipped to be an Oscar success (and maybe getting Jim Carrey that long deserved best actor nomination), are you hopeful of getting a nod for Best Supporting Actor? Come on, if anyone deserves it for benefitting the film industry in the way that you have (through countless pratfalls and killing the possessed - natch), its gotta be you!
