Debian is already ported to the IA64 -- not sure about the number of packages ported yet, but I know they intend to release the new 3.0 (woody) with a IA64 port.
I'm running gibraltar -- does anyone else, what do you think? It's cd based and creates a ram disk for all the config, saving them to floppy on shutdown. I got it running in 1/2 an hour, no trouble.
With Frank Darabont's The Majestic being tipped to be an Oscar success (and maybe getting Jim Carrey that long deserved best actor nomination), are you hopeful of getting a nod for Best Supporting Actor? Come on, if anyone deserves it for benefitting the film industry in the way that you have (through countless pratfalls and killing the possessed - natch), its gotta be you!
What about now hacking the Nikon D70 (Nikon's EOS300D equivillant) into a D100?

grumpy mood -- it lets me win quite easily, but not obviously, in order to make me feel better with my self (yes I'm very shallow
and when in a happy mood it should be able to challange my wits =)

does this mean that Mandrake might help to port games to linux? It could be good to see a wider range of well known games than just the loki ones.
