A good effort in principle but ultimately worthless, all websites/apps will do is add "you explicitly consent to allow X" in their TOS and carry on as usual. a firmer action would be to make any TOS that is over 1 A4 page long legally invalid.
Precisely what I came into here to comment on. You nailed it. No teeth.
How is it really extortion? They are pointing out that if their Internet service is cut off they can't connect to devices connected to the Internet because their services is not active.
It says not "standard panels" so we'll have to see on the day they announce it. Probably some sort of hybrid design that the cells are embedded in to possbly like sheets that form a roof sorta like the metal roofing I've seen around.
Why do we announce things of this nature? Wouldn't it be more in our interest to just keep this sorta thing like in an "Area 51" type logic. Sure we have the capability, sure we may or may not use it. I don't think we should just say, we are going to do more of it, so you other countries that may be our enemy now or in the future, get your shit together and raise your defense against energy weaponry.
It will probably be in single pill form - i.e. you can't take half of it unless you are seriously trying to screw yourself or the system.
There are commercials on the radio, and they say it could be upwards of 100 pills. I know it's a political add, but there might and I say MIGHT be some truth to it being more than 1 pill.
Didn't even Wozniak say that Siri isn't as good as the advertisements?
Steve quoted on various news sites:
I have a lower success rate with Siri than I do with the voice built into the Android, and that bothers me. I’ll be saying, over and over again in my car, ‘Call the Lark Creek Steak House,’ and I can’t get it done. Then I pick up my Android, say the same thing, and it’s done. [...] On the 4S I can only do that when Siri can connect over the Internet. But many times it can’t connect. I’ve never had Android come back and say, ‘I can’t connect over the Internet. [...] Plus I get navigation. Android is way ahead on that.
While it could be fabricated it, could well be true. Let's see how it works out. People in touble almost always deny, deny deny, but in the end the truth wins out.
Punk: Dials 911 911 Operator: 911 what is your emergency... Punk: Can you forward me to the cop chasing me!?!?!? 911 Operator: Sure. One moment..... Annoying Ring Tone... boom chicka wah wah... Cop Answers: Wh, who is this? Punk: Don't tase me bro!
..... particularly second-hand smoke which contains a Noah's Ark of nasty bacteria and pathogens. WHy is it such a surprise that it also kills sensitive electronic equipment?
I totally read that as edible tables.

What reason are we going to make up to invade the arctic? -_-
The first time I read the headline I thought it said Chemists Build First "Buckyball" Made of Bacon .
Boron's OK, I suppose, but bacon would have been way wicked cooler.
Same here, I was just about to post that. Too funny.
Hey, even photo copiers and faxes need freedom of speech.

Why you mad bro?
This is FiOS, this is SLOW...
Maybe its a news marketing effort, because until right now I hadn't heard of this movie at all.
Somebody should leak the pictures of that night through some kind of wistleblower site.
You mean like /.?

why is one wing shaped differently than the other, i wonder..
You're right, there is a noticeable extra piece of wing on the right (looking from the rear)

From the write up:
If it doesn't pan out we can at least get zombie bacon and spam
So where does the bacon and spam come from the Pigs or the Zombie soldiers? :-/

Cigarette smoke has bacteria in it?
Shirley!
Sorry. I am so sorry. I'll leave now. So sorry.
Umm ok.
Gorism
Odd. I searched the same term "hardwood suppliers" in google and bing and they are pretty much the same.
Exactly. It seems just like their old Live Search with new curtains.
