Isn't that assuming that homosexuality is genetic? While I believe that people are certainly born as homosexuals, I've never seen difinitive proof that there is a genetic predisposition toward homosexuality. Developmental (pre and post natal) and environmental factors could be in play as well. If so, there wouldn't *have* to be an evolutionary purpose...
Completely agree with Euler's Id although my first response would be to not get a tattoo... to each his own... aside form that I'd consider: Einstein Field Equations, Maxwell Equations, Schrodinger Equation and if this is part of a larger spread I'd hide the numbers 137 and 42 in there as well...
It's worth noting that there are quite a few phones that beat the 286ppi limitation, but the iPhone has the highest.
Which is all irrelevant, since by definition, the "clarity" of any phone that exceeds 286ppi are identical and beyond human perception... may as well be 500 or 1000ppi.
Once again...thank you "press" for giving us useless measurements... is it's max speed measured in units of cheetah velocity, its volume measured in swimming pools and its weight measured in automobiles?
I'm actually being serious... at great loss of nerd-cred... I've always wondered if it is pronounced "vim", "five-immm" or "six-mmm" or is the "i" sound a hard "I"? I've used to use it a lot when I had a linux file server in the house but it is not a word that has ever come up in casual conversation so I've never had a need to actually know...
yeah - you're pretty much an idiot. You're of the same ilk that believe the moon landings were faked, that there really is a loch ness monster, and that McDonald's chicken nuggets are made from chicken feet and heads (ok..that last one might be true). The Liberty conspiracy theories mostly died when the NSA released its radio intercepts - all of which can be listened too here (or you can read the transcripts or any number of the reports about the incident on the site.)
By the way, you're next move (as delineated in the Conspiracy Theorist's Handbook) is to accuse me (and the NSA) as being part of the conspiracy.
There is keeping a promise and NOT keeping a promise. The way the data is presented, it looks like politifact found 5 different ways to categorize or rebrand 394 unkept promises. Exactly when do you the 83 "stalled" and 255 "in the works" promises become broken promises? one year? two?
uh...maybe the "litigation costs and malpractice insurance" is 1-1.5 percent of the health care costs... but what about the role of "defensive medicine" (i.e. ordering excessive and unnecessary tests to prove due diligence against future claims)? Your quote doesn't address that aspect at all...
I'm surprised that no one has pointed out that they did this on their 137th year.... 137 is among the most interesting numbers in physics...I'm surprised that no one has pointed this out yet... I seriously doubt it was a coincidence
Because the original Exploration plan *did* close within the current budget. Cost growth and schedule delays made it grow beyond the budget. Also, Obama isn't cancelling the program to save money... he is cancelling the program so that those funds can be used for *other* things closer to his core agenda (namely earth observation and climate science missions).
Did you just imply that the Nexus One is an inferior product? How exactly?
Just don't moderate that way.

Mod parent up... good analysis...
Obligatory

Nevermind a lot of ink too!
He clearly doesn't work for Apple.

What? No Kennedy's are available for this?! Thank you very much! I'll be here all week!

Sure... but why the need to constantly compare dimensions to other objects?

but does it tell you how to pronounce "Vim"??? (first post?)

That's odd... I think of "Howard the Duck"

Seems perfectly cromulent to me..

On top of that, the Mars mission is still on.
If by "on" you mean was never funded and still isn't funded then you are right.

Hmm... if you count operating for 20 seconds a successful landing... then maybe... not very useful though.
