    Did you doctor explain to you/your daughter that ritalin & friends are clinically proven to cause permanent brain damage?

    Get "The Anti-Depressant Fact Book," author Peter Breggin, MD. Also by him, "Your drug may be your problem," "Talking back to prozac," "Talking back to ritalin," and others.

    Personally, I had been on several anti-depressants, and a mood stablizer, "neurontin."

    The mood stabilizer was supposedly for bipolar disorder - something I'd never even shown a sign of until I'd been on SSRI anti-depressants for some time.

    What the mood stabilizer was auctually treating was SSRI induced mania.

    I've been off all of these medicines for a few months now, and you know what? I'm getting better. I'm STILL fighting the withdrawl effects from lexapro, but it gets better as time goes.

    (jamesh - i'd much rather have contacted you directly, but i can't find an obvious means to - i'll keep looking. you need to know what the above mentioned book (esp. "talking back to ritalin") have to say.)

    Maybe the the governater of CA could help us with the executions? he could pull out some cool plasma gun or something.

    hmm. maybe al gore could use his thought reading machine to find people who are even thinking about outsourcing. we could execute them, too, or some more interesting punishment, like... making steers of them.

    Logically, if your conclusions turn out to be correct (tell me in 50 years, eh?) ....

    Many people over here (in the US) will be unemployed, yes? So they'll have less money to spend on trivial items, which will further damage the economy, ... repeat, repeat ...

    Pretty soon they'll have to move the COMPANYS to India, where people have money to buy things...

    *shrug* I'll still be in my straight-jacket anyway, so.. Easy come, easy go. :)

    It's not India's fault, it the fault of management here that have absolutely no sense of responsibility to their country. Errm, patriotism, even.

    (Not suprising, I guess, when we've culturally created such a stigma against patriotism, but..)

    Does such a place exist?

    How can I tell when I walk into, say, Circuit City/etc if an ablum is associated with the RIAA?

    Well, if you encrypt mail with GPG or PGP, the recipient _will_ know what it is, because you need the recipients public key to encrypt it.

    I've got a better idea: instead of trying to identify which people are pirating your music, why don't you just not let ANYONE in your store? Then you won't have any piracy problems.

    even a single processor G4 is.. LOUD.

    have you ever even opened one up? how can you say it's heat efficient?!

    FWIW, a dual G4 is about 6 db louder than my p4 2.66 w/ all the fixings. (keep in mind, +6db is 4x as loud.)
