Rebates are one of the things wrong with the current income tax system. People shouldn't be waiting for their government check, even if it's money they loaned to the government (interest free).
I hesitate to give my money to somebody who gets to decide how and when they pay me back.
I use a palm Vx for reading books. The ones without rechargable batteries can really eat up some double or triple A batteries if your reading books on them, especially if you read in the dark with the back light, like I do on car trips.
He is, FTA" * Create a new crime of life imprisonment for using pirated software. Anyone using counterfeit products who "recklessly causes or attempts to cause death" can be imprisoned for life. During a conference call, Justice Department officials gave the example of a hospital using pirated software instead of paying for it. "
It sounds like this criminal penalty would be most likely to hit some poor tech instead of the person who actually decided not to cut a PO. How are you supposed to put a hospital in prison for life?
maybe without the trust fund...
Either way I would hate to work with you or employ you, or anyone else who describes themselves as lazy unless I'm partying.
Yeah, now that I read that easy paragraph I've gotten too lazy to move my eyes to the right. I'm only reading the left side of the text and it makes things hard to understand...
I feel you, however, I've learned it's best to take care of yourself. That data entry clerk with the SUV might sleep on an air mattress and eat beanie weenies every night because of her decision to buy that car. Your brother might be carrying 30k on credit cards and be one paycheck away from bankruptcy.
I'd love to keep up with the Joneses, but they're so damn stupid. Everybody acts like money is no object. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one without a big screen tv or I feel bad about the gifts I can afford to give at birthdays and x-mas. I try to remember that I'm in the minority that plans ahead and lives within my means.:(
I used Turbo Tax to file my taxes. Afterwards I got a free offer from Experian for some low level of credit monitoring for free. I signed up only afterwards realizing what a great phishing email that could have been. I'm usually savvy enough to pay attention to site redirects and certificates, but it's still easy to be fooled. I'm dissapointed that turbo tax allowed those emails to be sent out.
I don't think they can legally keep them, however, if the cops become involved they will be confiscated as evidence and there will be charges filed. I think this implied threat makes most people leave their cards.
I see you and raise you "The only thing worse then no documentation is bad documentation."
Have you ever bought a car part and were given the wrong one? I have, sometime car parts look different due to minor redesigns so I assume that is the case and try to fit that damn part on, rarely do I succeed, but I sure waste a hell of a lot of time.
My kids like these movies. They tend to stay closer to the storyline and keep more of the original message intact.
Read the originl little mermaid story was a caution towards doing anything to get a man because it can easily backfire. Disney's story has made it seem like you should always do anything for your man. It's a total reversal. As a father of three girls I am appalled.
The easy way to avoid this is to email your boss the license count required for this project. Tell him you are readying a script to perform this install (Please GOD tell me your not doing it manually...). State that you assume he will have enough licenses on hand. I'm the network admin, I don't deal with the legal or political ramifications of my duties. My job is to make things work. I let me boss handle the license buying, if he says we have 100 licenses I assume we do, if he says he bought 50 more, I add them to my spreadsheet.
That's why managers make more, they are the ones that decide whether or not to assume the risk of using pirated software. I just implement solutions. I do try to verify licenses, but it's easy to document what you have done to verify licensing. If it's an email to the boss and an affirmative answer, that's enough for me.
If the boss blatantly tells me pirate software I will politely decline and give him alternatives. I treat this like a project and deliver a several page writeup outlining our options w/ costs for each.
Actually, the d600 is crap. When dell first introduced the d-series they sucked, the c-series were rock solid. The original c-series were crap also. I think dell takes a couple generations to get everything right when they make a major change. I had a c-610 (ok, durability problems), c-640 (spectacular machine), d-600 (POS), d-810 (nice machine, kind of unpolished), d-820 (really nice machine, looks good too).
I'm dreading when they switch to what I assume will be the e-series.
My bank does it right. They warn you that you are using an unsupported browser and give you an option to continue.
I like it, plus that only happens when I use Opera, not Firefox.
That's still breeding dependency on a government check. It is logically different then welfare, but functionally too similar.
This is also a means of increasing government overhead. Fair Tax is like Death Tax, it's all in the name.

There's nothing wrong with a skullet
YAY! for common sense!

sounds like a trust fund baby to me...

maybe I need the extra horsepower to drag around my enormous penis?
Yeah, except usually he tells me the game is not avaliable (code for "I'm buying it later").

Your getting screwed if your trading dollars for Euro's, or your getting a hell of a deal if your trading Euro's for Dollars.
£1 is roughly equal to $1.36
This five year chart looks bad, but nowhere near as bad as you are making it out to be.

I'm in the same boat

I'm guessing this isn't a lattitude? Dell's lattitude notebooks are as good or better then anybody else's, I can't speak for the rest of their line.
I got an email solicitation from Vonage to pay for the whole year now and save about $50. They claimed it was no risk, hahaha.
Could you point me at a copy of this law? I'm in Indiana and I haven't heard about it, unless it's related to the Indiana Do Not Call list.

The computer is generally infallible. People just often don't know what they told the computer to do.
