    My point was, welfare/food stamps/ gubmint money won't buy alot of drugs. They are probably working hard to feed their addiction.

    I'd like to play cars, I'd get a 1986 ford escort and have it fully restored to mint condition. Then i'd sell it to some high schooler for $200 bucks and do the same thing with a 1982 chevette hatchback, a 1987 dodge omni, etc. Just restoring old hatchbacks and minivans, then dumping them out to the market dirt cheap when I'm done playing.

    I would start a payday loan co-op. Give out payday loans like a regular place. After taking out overhead costs, I would refund the fees to the borrowers at the end of the year.
    I'd also figure out other ways to screw over the predatory financial community.

    Thanks for pointing that out. Every time I see on of these discussions I think of this.

    I don't know about the rest of you, but I need Linux more then it needs me. If a company hires me to support Linux and the distribution they have in production uses systemd, more likely then not, I'm using systemd. Whining doesn't really do anything about it when the decision has been made further up the food chain.

    I would think the whole point of a license plate reader is to convert the photo of the plate to text, so it should be storing text, not photos.

    (I make it a policy to setup my mother at least two web browsers. One with ad blocking and such for normal use and one without for problematic web pages.)

    You could have her open problematic pages in incognito mode.
