    If you are so dirt poor that you don't have room for a $1.29 investment, then you most likely live on the street and cannot get food every day... My guess is that you aren't in the target audience anyway.

    It's not that .NET isn't used in enterprise. It's used in the company I work for. It's more that nobody wants to work with it. Even in these times we cannot convince people to come and work for us because of the technologies we employ.

    One of my friends even chooses to be unemployed rather than come and work for my company because he doesn't want to work with .net.

    People using noscript got themselves into that mess... If you use noscript you are most likely able to figure out when to disable noscript and a part of a small enough minority to not really matter. Sorry.

    Also, any screen reader unable to ignore tags which are hidden by css will have so very many problems with standard pages that noone will be using it anyway...

    The company I work for (which is a pretty normal software company building a social networking service for a larger telco) has Windows on all their servers (go figure) and more and more desktops are being exchanged for MacBook Pros. Right now the ratio of Windows to Mac is 13:7 in the office I am sitting in.

    Today we have prior art with a specific date published. Any huge company which did NOT buy this from the guys who uploaded this video have zero chance in court, no matter how many lawyers they have... Publishing your idea to a public media (like youtube is today) is rock solid demonstration of prior art.

    In keeping with anecdotal evidence. My first experience with WINE was running Visual Studio 2.x (2.1 if my memory serves me right), and compiling was waaay faster. To this day I still think it was because of the faster filesystem I was using.

    WINE is indeed faster than Windows for some applications.

    If you're thinking about buying extra hardware for a game, why don't you get a consol in stead and keep windows off your computer? You might even go for the slightly less evil PS3 and keep microsoft out of your house that way ;)

    Mac users may find it funny, but as a mac user I cannot see the video as MSN video says that it does not support my operating system. Does anyone have a mirror, or a youtube link, or anything like that?

    PS. no more saying that you really use a mac, since clearly you all used windows and IE to see that video...

    Culture vs. law.... If it isn't illegal than that culture should have passed laws to protect itself

    Not all countries are like America. Some other countries don't make a habit of sueing each other, but would prefer more civilized approaches. Like, for instance writing a letter and asking them to respect local culture.
