    That's unconstitutional, directly contradicting Article I, Section 9 of the United States Constitution regarding Congress

    So? Ashcroft has an established record of trying to circumvent the constitution when it comes to Civil Rights, Abortion and the seperation of Church and State. Why is it so ridiculous to suppose he would try to subvert the Article I, Section 9?

    Probably they figured that nobody who was sharing their music would sue them for damages, since they'd bring attention to themselves...

    . . .a notion that meshes well with their general assumption that peer-to-peer networks are used EXCLUSIVELY to share pirated files.

    DoS attack blocks you r bandwidth and there's absolutely nothing you can do about that ping flood.

    Not necessarily. A DoS attack blocks or degrades availability to resources, hence, Denial of Service. You could simply shut down your server during a SYN flood etc. Dosen't make your resource any more available.

    Well that's a shame. Problem is, there appears to be no Ximian support for MY operating system. Too bad these Ximian folks are copying the idea AND making the same mistake of ignoring alternative operating systems!
