    Other than the quick glance and then immediate forgetting does actually take any real notice of them?
    Even computer illiterates learn quickly to ignore flashing ads.

    And actually this hijacking of ads should be encouraged! IF the same ads are repeated over and over again you get used to them quicker and ignore them quicker.

    In the 9 or so years being online I can only recall clicking intentionally on a banner ad once.

    However they cant touch any foreign sharers. The result of the actions is that there will be more foreign 'sharers' than US ones.

    So the only thing that will happen is that it will take US ppl longer to download things (as the sharer would be farther away than usual).

    I dunno, PURE communism would probably work. Unfortunately factors such as human greed and need for power and control bought down its downfall.

    You are lucky. Some parts of Northern Ireland dont even get half that. A friend gets 1000 bits per second even after tweaking the modem settings.

    SPEED UP THE EARTH!

    I propose we keep the earth spinning at a constant rate by detonating thousands of nukes at certain places once every four years. This will produce a Catherine Wheel effect and the earth will speed back to its original spin rate.

    I am going to patent this idea but I fear itll be 500 years before I get it processed.

    It used to be brilliant. But then it got greedy and started to charge too much for increasingly very little. I can remember getting a 3000 point Blood Angel army for about £100 in 1994-5.What does it cost nowadays for a single 'character' miniture? £10?

    And on the computer gaming front, they would make a killing if they released a half decent FPS or RTS. Instead they fear that it would harm sales of the table top games. And so no game will ever be released and they clamp down on ANY attempt to make a mod or an actual computer game. Anyone play Rites of War? HOW SHIT WAS THAT?

    you'd have to know the structure of the gas cloud down to its minute detail? How in hell do you find out that?
    For instance how do you calculate the thickness of the gas cloud between the earth and this quasar its supposedly magnifying in on? As the thickness of the clous would affect the radio waves of the quasar more than a thinner gas cloud. Whats the yardstick to measure the gas cloud?
