    Not quite the same thing. This would prevent a 3rd party from making a cheaper cartridge for your razor.

    To be fair, i think including DRM IS game changing functionality, just in a bad way. Lets hope it fails in the market and others dont follow down that path.

    ( I dont drink mud water and even i know this is a bad precedent )

    I could be wrong I think the 'need to' was implied as the act needed for it to work, not from the 'legal' angle.

    Aside from that, i would think even an ill fitting respirator would be better than nothing.

    Its not a big deal now, but it was when it first started happening to people and no one knew what the hell was going on.

    In my case, iOS friends messages never did fall back, and they all went into the bit bucket.

    I found this out over a year ago when i finally switched. It was dammed annoying too. Took a couple of days to even figure out it was happening "didn't you get my message?"

    Thankfully my iDevice was still functional so i could turn it back on, but it would have been even harder if not.

    Thanks for nothing, Apple.

    No one prints them around my parts.

    But regardless, it doesn't really address the issue here, as you could always look at your digital map before you left the house so you know where you are going before you get there. Your map being on paper doesn't matter. In the old days when i traveled a lot, i have seen people trying to read maps 1/2 folded in their passenger seat weaving all over the place.

    Personally, i dont touch my phone while moving. I *might* look at the phone at a stoplight to see who called, and pull over to call back if its important, but i wont even talk on the phone while driving.

    I also dont yak up a storm with passengers, for the same reason.

    Don't care if its a 'real' gps, phone, radio or just looking at your passenger's tits. If you take your eyes of the road for any amount of time at all you *are* distracted, and a hazard to others.

    Tragedy can happen in a liberal blink of an eye at road speeds, if you are not looking at what is going on around you, it can happen before you even know it was going to.

    I was using red-phone on the Android for 'special' conversations. I am pretty sure you can encrypt XMPP voice chats too.

    Of course that doesn't address both ends if you want to call another cell phone user that has nothing special installed.

    No "per message" charge is what whats-app is all about ( well that and being universal across all the major phone platforms ), or are you also illiterate? ( which could explain why you aren't going to be doing much chatting )
