Even in HS its still the students/parent's property. The education was paid for by the parents taxes. Teacher is contracted to provide the education and gave up rights to retain ownership of the information.
Even as a HS student id still refuse and force them to physically take them from me.
Sure they can, but they can also be slapped down afterwards.
If the governments don't tell them to stop doing something, then they keep moving forward. If they do tell them to stop, they just appeal and again, keep moving forward.
Either way, Microsoft wins more market share and long term cash flow.
Seriously tho, if they can do this at about 200, i'm sure it will sell well. I do hope they give the option of a card reader for those that want a little more then 4g ( who knows what tomorrow holds...) and not having to use a external USB device.
If it starts to approach 300, it will have to compete with the big guys and wont survive.
Well of course.
If they offer a netflix alternative expect that to be a better performer due to shaping as well.
Most people will just think the alternatives suck and choose comcast's service instead, never the wiser.
I moved away from them 10 years ago and it was a nightmare then too.
I almost lost my domain in the shuffle. Legal threats were required even then. ( they were a virtual monopoly and had you over a barrel )

My notes are *my* property. If she/he held me down took them, id sue for theft and assault. ( in the real sense, not that abstract IP theft )
Furthermore, you paid for the 'knowledge transfer' so any so called "IP rights" the instructor had, was licensed to you, in effect.
Netsol sux anyway.
Anyone else notice how they send out notices with the FROM: address forged as the TO address? Most people would get sued for fraud.
Its still an issue as it wastes bandwidth and storage. Its a hidden issue that is choking a lot of ISP's and corporate email systems, raising costs.
When there is no money to be made. As long as there are suckers, it will continue.

Often times unexplained slowness is this impending doom.
Its a trap...

Its called 'features' and 'enhancements' and ya, its annoying as hell.
Really, how many people really care about SP2?
Not sure why you were modded funny, you just proved the point.
I for one have purchased items after downloading them first to see if i wanted them or not. No 'preview', no sale. Gained a sale on me.
But i agree with the opposite too, somethings if it wasn't available free id not have it at all. They lost no $ on me.
Perhaps Oliver Stone is involved. Ever think about that?
Hey, what's that noise.....
Umm infecting ONE PC is a crime.. I don't think that is the question here.
Short: It depends.
Long: It depends.
Management buy in doesn't solve technical issues that may exist for his particular company.
WIthout Debian Canonical wouldn't exist.
So even with 30m they still are not truly 'self supporting'.
How ironic, the first ad i see is 'free government money'.
Same thing, different flavor.
Besides, you know people, they have to keep re-inventing the wheel, in their favorite color.
Its why we never get anywhere.
