but it's not illegal to distribute a patented design
But it is illegal to distribute copyrighted/trademarked designs without permission. I would be willing to bet that most any product today of any value is protected by BOTH avenues.
If you really think that we are alone in the surveillance world, are the idiot. We may be the biggest, that i will give you, but all other countries do it too, and always have.
I don't like that we control the whole ball of wax.
In reality we don't. That is part of the problem. And we are no worse/better than anyone else. We just got caught with our hand in the jar, that everyone else is pulling cookies out of too.
As stated and proven out by real research, he was a business man, and an ass. ( but that often goes together ). I did say he had value since he corralled talent and funded research, just not as some 'great inventor'.
I bet i have read more about Tesla alone than everything you have read in your entire life ( not all have even been published btw ). How many of his patents have you reproduced in your garage? Have you been on the ground in Croatia to trace his roots? I doubt it.
Was NOT a great inventor. He was a businessman that took credit for his employees work. He also worked them like dogs, and lied to them. He may have been needed at the time to coordinate/etc, but that doesn't mean he should get credit for what he couldn't do.
Just read some of Tesla's notes about what happened, the guy was a total 'bag.
If you want to read on it, yes it makes a lot of difference. Not talking theory here as I do have both sizes, and its a world of difference in usability.
If you just want to play angry birds or something, then no, it don't matter much.
I would be disappointed if they didn't take advantage of every resource available. A "not invented here" mentality in a high stakes game gets you killed.
3D printers will come down in price. Cheap CNC has pretty much stabilized.
3D printers takes zero skill. CNC takes some.
While not quite there yet for the home printer, commodity 3D materials will improve. Also have you never heard of plastic lowers before? Several companies sell them, so the concept of plastic does not make them unsafe by default. ( try telling Gaston Glock that plastic is unsafe, i'm sure he would disagree.. )
In 6 months we wont remember who the NSA is or what happened.
Humans today have the attention span of a turnip.
its the future of home manufacturing out of plastic.
Kids these days.
Implies something other than what actually happened; a simple aviation accident.
It just happened the cargo was nuclear weapons. It could have been pallets of toilet paper instead.

Anyone associated with that company should have been in prison for crooked business practices that illegally destroyed Atari.

Is Tesla the only one who can attain the rank of "great inventor"?
No, of course not, as that would be silly. There was Leonardo too.

When you have entities taking advantage of what you invented, and you have no choice but to involve the courts to force them to do the right thing.
Anything else is a troll.

I don't see 'not start charging' in their list.
Should we expect to have to pay for this soon? If so, they better be producing something that is rock solid and offer actual support.
It depends. It could go either way.

That is not a phablet. Nice try tho. Even 5" really isn't. and you need to get past 5.5
With a sub-5" phone, they are just playing catch-up with the rest of the world. ( other than Apple..)
Its affirmation that if you *will* conform, or else.
Gen 1. Simple touch here .every day. Got it the first week it was out, has been in use ever since.
Yes, color e-ink, 9.7" or don't bother releasing anything. We have enough 'tablets' called 'e-reader' out there now.

If you are in a business you want to see what your competition are doing, especially if its just a matter of subscribing...
