  1. Goldeneye on Student Arrested for Making Videogame Map of School · · Score: 2, Insightful

I remember back when 100% of my free time was spent playing 4-person Goldeneye on the N64, I wished there was a level for every single interesting building or structure I went into. I would have LOVED a map of my school, or even better a major international airport, as in Die Hard 2.

Oops. Brought up airports and level design in the same topic. My name just moved up a few spaces on the govt. list. Better leave some extra time next time I fly. After all, these games are only functional as "simulators", right?

Most boardrooms and classrooms use fluorescent lighting, which should reflect.

It should still be better than what we have now, but something to consider.

Exactly. I know it plays great games, and Ico looks great, but the fact is the failure rate on the PS2 is incredibly high. It's quite rare that a PS2 can read CD games, DVD games, audio CDs, and movie DVDs after a couple years. I payed over $200 for my PS2, and it pisses me off that I can no longer play any game with a blue-backed disc.

The warrenty is 30 days. I can pay Sony, and shipping both ways to fix something that shouldn't wear out in less than 2 years. Right now I am only buying the multiplatform games for the cube, simply because it still works.

Right-o. I was going to mention the same thing. I think racing games are WAY more fun with a catch-up mode, because the races are always really damn close. The better player still wins most of the time, but the lesser player gets to feel like they're actually competing.

Something like the weapons discrepency in Mario Kart would be quite nice in an FPS, I think.

It's simply a function of intensity, so where does the number "501 calories for an hour of jogging" come in? I can see that someone a bit out of shape can only output so much energy, but to be specific to 500 and ONE calories?
