Did anyone else at first think that they were referring to the Random in random access memory with their tagline? I wondered if non-nerds would understand that and then I realized that the tagline refers to how the songs are always shuffled.
Engadget has some pictures of the mac mini http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000590026982/ It's about 1/3 the size of the cube- looks smaller than most external cd drives. They're going to cell millions.
At my (public school) campus, religious groups get only $300 a year from the University and the rest has to be made in donations. Because of the students' lack of money, it is hard to ask them for donations.
I suggest going to your almamater and donating a few hundred dollars to your campus ministry, Chabad, or Hillel. With tight budgets, religious organizations provide cost effective and selfless support to many students.
The biggest problem I have with my Kodak digital camera (and even some of the nice Canon ones) is the large amount of redeye that is introduced into pictures.
Are there any cameras that take 1 sec to take a picture with flash and have eliminated red eye?
I know this is a linux oriented site, but nothing beats Windows remote desktopping. It's encrypted and can use local printers, diskdrives, and serial ports. Most importantly, it just works.
Apple also updated its Xserve RAID system, which starts at $5999, "to deliver a massive 5.6 terabytes (TB) of storage capacity at the industry's most aggressive price for storage of just over $2 per GB. Apple has also expanded support for heterogeneous environments with certification from Cisco and SUSE Linux and optimized the system to work with its Xsan Storage Area Network file system."
I've been using Mandrake for over 1 year. But am happy I've changed completely to Yoper. It's much faster; no more 15 seconds waiting for an app to fire. Also being part of a constantly evolving new distro makes it all more personal and significant. Sure there are packages missing. So we always can learn to build our own and add it to Yoper's repository. Rather than just sit back and complain. It's a very friendly and welcoming community there, no power battles or l33t t4lk - pretty cool methinks.

Schools and companies are the places where there are a huge number of computers. Those are the places where Mozilla can make inroads for quick jumps in market share. My school finally dropped Netscape 4 and is offering a custom Mozilla browser with its logo to every student. How long before others follow?

Linking to a popular Mac site right after a Macworld keynote is like kicking a man when he's already down on the ground.
