    to know this is a big deal? Or are you guys all just shooting off your mouth. Sure the author is making noise but its their paper. Thats what every author does. For all we know 40% of coral might die off on average. Coral organisms themselves aren't that long lived.

    Even as a casual reader of medical news I thought apoE has been linked to alzheimer's for years. The specific method of removing and inducing the phenotype might be the actual breakthrough but its not like they discovered apoE4 itself.

    94% of Democrats voted for the bill. It was introduced by a member of the centists who are big on embracing liberal social policy. The reasoning behind the bill and the title is to stop sex trafficking which is a cause mostly championed by the left over recent years. Prostitution has slowly been banned from many European countries due to the efforts of feminists. The 'moral majority' doesn't have really any influence except over a faction of politicians who would of course support this bill for different reasons. But it is the left that has influence over the wider society which is ultimately more important.

    is to try to make people dependent on the government forever. Automation is an inherently freeing technology. Intervention, which doesn't have to be from the government btw should be geared toward getting people to use technology to become self sufficient as possible. There can be a safety net as there always has been of course. But not this creeping daycare the elite seem to want.

    China has or is tightening restrictions across the board on sharing research. Agriculture research labs for instance in some cases at least can't get funding if they work together with groups in america. And I'm sure the same thing is true for other fields. China has no problem taking or stealing the research of others but keeps a very jealous grasp on their own.

    If you don't believe these allegations than you are basically a right wing rape apologist according to you. If you DO believe these allegations than Google. Probably one of if not the most prominent and outspoken champions of social justice not just in words but through spending millions in pushing this philosophy in politics and the legal system is a complete hypocrite and their methods not only do not work they make their work environment the antithesis of what they seek. Gotta be one of these dude/person.
