It's because Canadian networks like Bell, Shaw, etc purchase the rights to broadcast those shows here, whether it's over cable or their own shitty services like Shomi, or Crave.
Sure it would help, I would rather buy a game for $30 (Canadian, where games are usually between $70-90 here) than waste a day or two trying to download the iso. As it stands now, I don't do either.
They should drop calls and overcharge customers too to complete the picture.
A bit offtopic, but when I signed up for Telus's ADSL service I could have sworn the woman told me 6 months free service then, $39/Month. 2 days ago I got a call saying they noticed I havent been billed for internet service for 6 months and now they are going to back bill me (Only for 3 months though, such nice folks).
So you only get the floor mostly clean. Seems like it could use some more work...
Well, to me, mostly clean is much better than the horrible mess I have now. You can eat off my floors, but not because they are that sanitary, but because they have all that food on them.
That would just be for kicks, I mean, we're talking about elite soldiers vs. gorillas here. Well, you'd have to be not morally opposed to shooting a gorilla down with some kind of automatic weapon.
It's the case of the an army of the elite Vs the large army of gorillas. The elite may have a lot of neat tricks, but it will probably really hurt if the gorillas manage to close enough to make a few punches.
I don't know.. gorillas, while they may be stronger, are still pretty stupid. I mean, throw some bananas their way and that will keep them occupied. Guerillas on the other hand...
Also for the benefits of Canadians, I think that Mt. Dew is caffeine-free in Canada. Any non-dark pop has to be (I think). Anyway, I think coffee is yummy.
Yes, you're right, although the new blue pepsi does have caffeine. Maybe it is dark enough.

Also, In Windows 2000, go to the command prompt, and cd to a directory with lots of files. Do a dir, and while its scrolling past, press F7,Enter,F7,Enter.. over and over.. It crashes every damn time.
So when the RIAA kills a file-sharing server in Scotland because US law specifically permits it, and when they are indicted because UK law specifically outlaws it, whose national sovereignty will be degraded?
Thats a stupid question. US law prevails over all others.
Drive-Thrus - It's hard to really get a good feel for your town. Imagine being able to have a car simulator where you get to experience what traveling is like in the city first-hand.
I saw a 3pack boxed set the other day, and one of the games was Streets of Simcity. It looked as if you could load up one of your cities and drive around.

Why the fuck do people record video on their phone in the vertical position? There are so many cases of this.. morons.
I'd mod you up if I had points.
This is the best explanation I've ever heard regarding reincarnation.
Yeah, exactly. Why are you such an idiot?
And as for my contribution:
all the service packs/bugfixes

would be to LOWER the price of the games.
Lets hope FFXII gets away from the whole play for 2 minutes, watch a 15 minute cut scene, play for 2 more minutes.. etc.

mozilla lets you just turn them off.
Although, how come I don't see it in the preferences anymore? I know you can still edit prefs.js though.
Just be thankful its not as loud as on TV or in movies. The screen beeps or makes some kind of noise for everything.
Maybe they should just rename Gnome 2.2 to Gnome 7 or something and all the problems will go away.
Of course as soon as a virus comes out of these filetypes, people will stop opening them up pretty quickly.
Yeah, I'm sure.. Just like people stopped opening unknown executable attachments in their email.

This was already known about Morpheus in March. See This old story
This is Slashdot, nobody really boycotts anything around here. Its more of a symbolic thing. Or a metaphor.

Hmm, you make very good points. I guess thats why I'm paid so poorly. hehe.
Instead of telling the users to put their files on W:, you could also map each users My Documents folder to a directory on the server.

You are wrong. A lot of people believe that one side of the moon is permanently dark. Its just not true. Check out www.badastronomy.com/bad/misc/dark_side.html
