Viruses in Applications bundled with Windows. When so many applications are bundled with the OS, the higher the posibility for viruses gets.
I can bet my grandmothers eye on that most Windows users use Outlook as theire e-mail client. When this.NET system realy gets many users and is final, we will see viruses much worse then Nimda, I_Love_You and Code Red.
In Linux there isn't a standard E-mail client, there isn't a standard browser, so viruses don't spread as fast as Viruses on the Windows platform.

Apple probarbly want's to port OS X to x86, but since Microsotf owns a share of theire stock, we will never see it. Because Microsoft would then go bankrupt. Thats the same reason why Microsoft ported Office to the mac: If Apple decided to make a good office-clone pack, Microsoft would go bankrupt because no one would have a reason to use Microsoft.

The weakest part to me seems to be the prosecutors words on buying a DVD:
"When you buy a DVD, you buy the right to view it, but not to copy it".
This is blatantly false, as people in Norway also have fair use rights to their purchases.
Didn't he make a program (DeCSS) that allowed him to watch DVD's in Linux? He didn't even crack te crypto.
The reason why "everyone" is using windows now days is that microsoft have a "stable" GUI that is easy to understand. I have never tried a MAC, but i think those are better than PC's, and have a better OS (mac OSX). I would buy a mac if I could afford one...
Anoher reason why Windows is superior is that most ppl don't know anything but Windows, they think that windows is the computer... 4 some reason

In Nortway, a group of programers have started making a linux distr for schools. It's called skolelinux (school-linux). The distro is (offcourse) free, and is now in a very early beta stadium. Also, many schools in Norway use Linux.
All these projects have worked out fine. They usually use a really good computer as a server, and 486's as thin clients.

I hope cloning will be possible, but not for cloning people, we can use cloning in medicine, and we can grow bodyparts... ( remember the mouse with a ear on it's back?:p ) Cloning a person is wrong, will it be a real person, how will ppl react to it? who's it's parents? there are so many ethical questions in the area that cloning a human beeing should be illegal.
I love Opera and it's mouse gestures. Sometimes I have to use IE to acces some shity webpages, and i often try to use the gestures because I'm so used to it, and when I realise that I'm running IE, I shit my pants. I LOVE OPERA!!

How can you know what real communism is like? communism have never been. it's not communism in Cuba, not in china, and it was not communism in soviet.
