    It won't be linux based until the kernal has some sort of generic wireless NIC built in. They will want to make the OS easier to use the any flavour of Windows, because gram and gramps has to be able to use it and not need support...

    Let's not jump all over microsoft for this. Most of the time, windows crashes are caused by something the user has done to change the system. If the automobile core software is locked out to changes, then the user can't add in anything that may cause the system to crash (latest driver, latest beta verison etc). The most stable system I have ever seen, is the one right after I finish loading the os on a clean drive...

    Actually, the cost of the inquiry is also a sore point. Many people believe that the current govt. is blowing up the numbers in order to take the heat away from the inquiry.     No, because the business is giving you the e-mail address, it is still their property. They cannot monitor you personal (home) e-mail at your home, but it is debatable as to whether or not the can monitor it if you check your home e-mail at work (provision of bandwidth purchased by company making it their e-mail because you used their bandwidth). when in doubt, leave home stuff at home, don't use work address for personal e-mail...

    Um... I think you may have misread this... The way I read it, the bio-metrics just replace you reaching into you wallet to get the card/cash required. It is not replacing it, just the way you produce it...

    the past week the daytime highs here in Ottawa Canada were -20 deg. Celsius. Normals for this period, according to Environment Canada http://weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/city/pages/on-118_me tric_e.html, are daytime highs of -5 deg. Celsius. If the tempurature is going to be raised at most 11 deg. IT WILL STILL BE #$%*#$ COLD HERE!!!!

    nobody points to the real reason music sales are dropping? Today's music isn't based on music, but on image and one hit wonders... Just look at Hoobaskank, one formulated bubble gum song, and they are headling big shows... what have they done since??? And don't forget about the eye candy... Jessica Simpson, Brittany Spears, couldn't sing their way out of wet paper bag, but with the volume down...
