    I wouldn't say that people like war, at least not enough to want to go fight in one. but perhaps those who have a lot of power and who wish to attain more of it like war.

    You forget that a home will pretty much go up in value, making a home a good investment. besides, exclusive neighborhoods are usually safer and have better schools. Why not spend the money if you can afford it? Thats pretty much all you can do with it.

    i believe the real reason for this is because the US took the Aspirin patent away from Bayer(a german company) after WW2

    I don't think its so much a troll because the intention of the post is not to garner a heated response. I kind of understand the redundant part since its obviously a first post, and had I cared to, I would have written a more intelligent comment. Sad as it may be, getting that first post is the most exciting thing I've done all day.
