You must not fly out of the country much. I am a dual citizen with the US and Colombia. I fly out of the US for work all over latin america. And i can tell you I will check my bags in the states and when I get to many airports in Latin America, I have to watch security digging through them. Just as I do when I fly back into the states.

However, if a US citizen applies for citizenship in another country, he can run the risk of losing his US citizenship. I remember going to "Ham Fests" where you could buy any sort of electronic gizmo, whether for your ham radio, a box of floppies, home grown software, etc. I even bought a fairly powerful FM transmitter. Taking the morse code out of it takes away the learning and the challenge, and also the feeling of accomplishment.

As someone who is a citizen of Colombia and Panama, who lives in Colombia I would like to know that other places other than Chile or Peru that can be defined as the lands of oppurtunity. There is such a seperation of the poor in the rich in these countries that unless you have money, a family name, etc there is nothing. Which is a shame for countries so full of natural resources.

When I was 23 and in college I met a girl who was 17 in a class. We were assigned as lab partners and it led to spending a lot of time together.

She was beautiful, mature, and a good match for me.
I refused to touch her and date her.

Her father showed up and my apartment one night with a six pack.

He said that he had a sad little girl at home because she liked a guy who did not like her back.

I told the dad it was not the case just the age difference and the law.

He cracked a beer and said he did not have a problem with the age difference but he laid down some ground rules.

    1. Birth control - he did not want any grandkids just yet.
    2. No drunken debauching outside of my apartment
    3. Treat her well

He then went on to explain that he was 15 years older than his wife and they had gone through the same thing.

We finished the six pack and 10 minutes later after he left she showed up with an overnight bag and we ended up dating for 2 years.

But banging the sheriffs daughter is still a stupid decision unless you plan on marrying her. Daddy can always arrest you.

    Plus he knocked her up.

    Plus an abortion.

Your friend is a douchebag. The cop trusted the dude and he knocked her up and brought her DR Coathanger. No sympathy whatsoever.
