    I agree with the parent. There's a lot of advantages Windows has over Linux/Mac, not the least of which is a respectable software library.

    I'm not a MS fanboi, but the software I use on Windows works and works well. Much of the software integrates well with other software packages I may need. I get to play the best games WHEN they come out... and finally I don't have to worry so much about what hardware I get because it will all work and more often than not without wrestling with configurations.

    So, congratulations on your semi-lack of microsoft life... now stfu.

    Could it be that the IE object on Windows makes it VERY easy to create software with browser functionality?

    I don't know if there's any SIMPLE and EASY way to obtain browser functionality in Linux... but on Windows, clearly the IE object makes sense.

    They're not tryting to create a browser, afterall...

    The point of burnout 3 is to ram your opponents car off the road in new and interesting ways at high speeds. You get points for tailgating, driving on the wrong side of the road... etc etc etc... you get the point.

    After playing this game for 4 hours straight and then jumping in my real car to go home on the freeway... let's just say that I had to be VERY counscious of my driving because my auto-pilot instincts were urging me to do very bad bad things.

    Profit is not a good reason to run a company, enhancing the overall good of society is.

    Damn, I never laughed so hard in my life. I don't know what bizarro universe you live in... but companies exist to make profit, there's no way around that unless you're a non-profit company.

    You see, they explicitly make a type of company called "non-profit" to destinguish them from all the other companies who exist for profit.

    You, my friend, need to rethink your idealistic subjective reality.

    Paypal's fees are in line with what it cost to be able to accept credit cards directly using a merchant account. Dare I say, Paypal is even cheaper. Additionally, paypal doesn't require personal guarantee's from business owners or credit checks.

    To grow a human would require the robot to feed the human... it doesn't make sense, the robot might as well feed itself what it's feeding the human if it's going to eat it.
