I can't find in the article whether or not it released more energy than they used to start the fusion. I've heard this has always been a problem so far with using fusion practically.
Why the size restraints on processors? Could a processor be made twice as fast if it could be made twice the size? When we hit the limit on how small transistors can be made, could processors continue to increase in speed by making them larger? I see no need why computers need to keep a processor size to two inches square.
"Instead of paying one star 20 million for a picture why not pay 200 actors 100,000 for several movies? Duh cuz that would make sense...[well not for the self-centered power-tripping millionaire fake people]."
Because people generally won't go to see movies without an actor they already know in it.
why most famous BASE jumpers are dead. This is it. Unless he's got some secret technology nobody knows about, this is likely suicide.
It's also not good for the public image of skydiving when sombody dies like this.
"The commission is saying it's fine to have obscenity any time of the day or night on satellite radio even though satellite radio is being made available to people without subscriptions," such as in rental cars that come with free service, Levine said in a telephone interview."
Oh come on. Rental car customers are such a small sample they shouldn't even be considered. Besides, what a company decides to give away to their customers shouldn't make the difference between government censorship of it or not.
From working in a bank, I've heard that your score goes down a small amount every time you request a credit report, to discourage people from applying for loans to dozens of banks, or the same bank over and over. I couldn't find anything about this on the website, but it might not be a good idea to request a report numerous times.
From what I've read, the universe is in three dimensions what the earth is in two: It is finite in size but has no boundary. Going in one direction long enough will bring you back to where you started.
I've never had a problem with international editions, i've used three or four and they have all been character for character exactly the same. The problem with textbook shopping online is you've got all that added time for shipping when you can't use the book for the class, and it isn't always possible to know exactly what book you're going to need for the class weeks before the class starts. Added to that, you've got a bigger problem if you have a deadbeat seller, problems can take weeks to work out and meanwhile you're in the class with no book.
I would think that most doctors would realize there are situations where a malpractice suit is warranted and necessary.

Does anyone -really- believe the cost would stay 1 cent? It would stay there for a while, until everyone considers paying for emails normal, then it'll rise and never come back, guaranteed.
Prints would be useless, but at least you could get someone to watch for who comes back to pick this thing up, arrest them, and still have the equipment photos for educating the public
I'm sure I'm not the first to mention this, but on several online websites you can find paperback "international editions" of expensive textbooks. I've bought them three or four times, and I can usually find a $120 book for around $40 or so. Its really staggering. Inside the cover theres a notice saying the book is " not to be re-imported into the United States or Canada" Does anyone know why these exist? Do the book companies feel for the third world nations like Singapore (where most of these come from) or is this some government's program?
I've found that its much much easier to quit caffeine than nicotine or alcohol, because the withdrawal symptoms are not much more than a headache and they go away relatively soon.
A funny story, a friend of mine had a huge caffeine addiction (drank 20 or so cans of Coke a day) and decided to quit.... he was telling me about how he never has any caffeine any more while drinking his huge iced tea. I asked him about the iced tea, and he had no idea it was caffeinated. "Maybe thats why after I quit drinking Coke, I started drinking a ton of iced tea!"
So be sure to know that caffeine is found in a bunch of stuff, like tea and chocolate.
Before 9/11, most hijackings were for different reasons (not suicidal). The best policy for them was to get the plane to land as soon as possible with as little commotion as possible. The passengers did not know that the plane was going to be run into a building, and if it had been for a bunch of guys trying to get a free ride to Cuba or get their brother out of jail, it might have been safer to let professionals handle it.
For the flights I've been on in the last year, I have shown up about one hour early and never had a problem. They were domestic flights, I realize that international flights take more. Even traveling over Thanksgiving, I was never in a line with more than one person ahead of me. Quite pleasant.

Your remark number 2 is emphasized in the article, and the article goes over ways to aquire hydrogen through clean renewable methods.

Is the problem Microsoft, or is the problem that people don't feel the need to update? I think its a little of both.

Don't they have staff members to assist with reading the bills and summarizing?
Agreed... nukes are too powerful as it is, for practical use. Why would we need anything MORE powerful?
According to this,URL:http://www.badnarik.org/ballotaccess.php/ he's got 48 states- still in court in Oklahoma
Microsoft is just looking for a way to convince courts they're not a monopoply.

Maybe their server is messed up from the slashdotting from dozens of /. articles linking to them.
