He called it a hard-drive, not a hard-disk. Honestly, we're splitting hairs about shit literally no one that does not frequent technology blogs gives a crap about. This is especially true because the HDD/SSD distinction has no bearing on the merits of his suggestion.
In this case, the suggestion is (perhaps accidentally) correct in that it is the FBI's job to discover evidence in their own possession, not Apple's. The burden of cracking the phone should be on the agency.
The problem for me is that when it's time for me to upgrade (I can't run the latest and greatest at max settings) the PCI Express slots are all out of date for the new graphics cards. That means a new mobo, and THAT means a new CPU and RAM, etc. I have only managed to keep the case and power supply through the last 4 iterations.
Also, the "moon" is capitalist imperial propaganda. What we call the moon is actually the glimmer in Kim Il Sung's heavenly eye, watching upon us and guiding us on the path of Juche.
The poles are under the jurisdiction of the state Public Service Commission. In other cities, Google has met with the commission and AT&T, with the end result of Google Fiber using the same poles as AT&T. In this lawsuit, AT&T is saying they want the city council to follow the same procedure followed in other cities where Google Fiber exists currently.
This post is not a defense of AT&T's prior anti-municipal broadband tactics; just playing devil's advocate against a bloody red meat summary.
Because they don't have to ask your permission? And why is "space" in quotes? Do you think it's really just a big black tarp with some holes poked in it?
You have to factor in the fact that centuries of calculated ethnic cleansing had left large swaths of Poland as ethnically German, especially in the north, and it was these people who were the lion's share of Nazi sympathizers in the country. The Poles purged the Germans after WWII (itself a controversial act, but I digress); how much should they still have to answer for acts committed by former Poles of German descent, who were then exiled back to Germany?
You joke, but many people there are actually saying things like this. I see comments calling for Tim Cook to be charged with treason, saying Apple shouldn't be able to do business in the U.S., etc.
To be fair, you see these same exact comments on Slashdot; just for different reasons.
They went so far as to produce fraudulent footage of planned parenthood just so they could open an investigation.
This is false. People said inconvenient things for PP.
It has been demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt, repeatedly, that they they lied and cheated in order to accomplish what they wanted
This is true! Also, unclear on the concept of an undercover expose (with the accent mark; thanks for being there when I need you, Unicode).
Women are now dying because of various medical issues that would have been trivially prevented by Planned Parenthood, because they either didn't have, or didn't know they had, options.
You could mean two things with this, and both things are false. First, if you're referring to the much ballyhoo'd mammograms, it would be helpful here to mention that PP doesn't perform them anyway, and never has. Second, if you're referring to women somehow not being aware of the fact that abortions exist, and need to be counselled on it's existence, then that simply stretches credulity.
It's not like "yarg, teh batshit crazy Muslims" is any different from "yarg, teh batshit crazy Christians".
I know right? Refusing to bake a gay wedding cake is literally and exactly like dragging them into the street and stoning them to death. It is, as you say, "the exact same fucking thing."
SCO is never going away. Fifty billion years from now, long after the last human is dead, alien successors-in-interest will still be suing each other over it.
Isn't CVT more fuel efficient than even manual, though? And with new models, the old lag problem is solved; or at least, it isn't an issue on my Honda Accord.
Whilst a bad pun is its own pun...ishment.

So you're to blame for systemd. Damn you, Revek, damn you!
And will you please, for the love of God, fix the video drivers?

THus why in most states you need to be certified to do any sort of pole work.
We better head over to the gentlemen's club and make sure the dancers are properly credentialed.

Doesn't 6 digits mean pre-2000?
For the intended purpose, it would only have to be used once. :/
"Cutting off your nose to spite your face."
Slashdot has a strange obsession with Uber. They post literally everything Uber related. I just don't get it.
*whoooosh*

Justin Bieber Darth Vader and Pocahontas Jedi.
...but enough about the prequels.
Speaking for myself, I am tired of politically savvy candidates.

Michigan just banned sodomy despite the fact that have a whackton of real and devastating problems that are costing people their lives.

I thought the Turing Test was discredited as a proper test of sentience? They could still just be clever Eliza programs now.
Notice what isn't on the list of "important stuff"? Carly's presidential run.
Next.

We Europeans are fine with this. There are thoughts that society is frankly better off without. Orthodoxy and conformity is safety.
You don't see this attitude as at all sinister in its implications? It's positively Orwellian.
