  1. Re:Why has no one taken this thread seriously... on Look-Alike Tubes Lead To Hospital Deaths · · Score: 1

I have to aggree with the above poster. Tubing is not all the same and neither are the connectors. All of my IV tubing is transparent and all of my BP cuff tubing is either black or opaque white and about twice the diameter of my IV tubing. I got out a IV cath and tried to hook it up to my BP machine. Now I was able to MAKE it fit but it was obviously not intened to fit and did not fit well. I did the same with a nasal canula/non rebreather mask and tried connecting them to an IV line, it is possible to make them connect but again it didn't fit well and was definatly not intended to. What I take away from this is a lesson in how badly fatigue can impare your judgment.

It's depressing to me to see how many people have so little faith in our Armed Forces. Most don't seem to realized our oaths of service have us swear to the Constitution first and foremost. If some how some units of the military did carry out unlawful orders to suppress civilian unrest, they will face resistance from other parts of the military, probably resulting in civil war but it is my firm belief that any military vs civilian will very rapidly become a military vs military & civilian conflict.
Officers: I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
Enlisted: I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Its odd though that you leave out the fact that our "stingy" 0.1% equals more than all the other countries you listed. So what if we are not giving as much as the UN; who has said that devolped contries can/should give 1% of their income we are still the largest donator. And thats not counting the cost of the military units out there helping. Like the carrier group that is moving into the region to help and the P3 Orions based from Japan that are right now flying recon for surviors. If that is not enought shall we go into the ammount of money that is raised and given out privately? You can take your stacked and meaningless stats and go troll else where.

There is now much of a need now to shrink dvd's to copy them or break the css either so no DMCA violation since there is no need to break css to do a 1:1 burn. Of course distributing said copies is still copyright infringment, but now we can exersise our fair use rights and back up our legaly purchased dvd's without running afoul of the DMCA. Not that they still won't try to make it seem to be a violation. I got my dl burner just need to find dl blanks, not in the local stores yet.
