    ...but ImageMagick is free as in GPL....

    Its not quite as 'slick', but you can do most the stuff you otherwise could with LT. Did I mention its free?

    The only real drawback I can see is you have to access it as a .COM object rather than a .NET object like you can with leadtools.

    Please explain to me exactly which group of people the patriot act it targeting? which group of people based on race/politics is this patriot act causing to be detained? I didnt see anything in there targeting arabs or communists or social democrats or trade unionists or jews.

    Im no fan of the patriot act, but your statement is quite a stretch...

    you can count on going about 15mph anywhere during peak hours. most highways are only 2 lane, and they tend to go to one lane through anything important, like crosstown (hwy 62) merging onto 35w. Predicting jams before they happen? I can do that.

    No goverment anywhere should censor any private citizen. Unfortunately this seems to be exactly what the EU is proposing.

    Its all about protecting the minority from the majority. Racists are the minority, just cause the majority of the people dont like what they have to say does not mean they should use the goverment to censor them.

    What if racists became the majority? I would hope the laws in place would prevent them from having the government censor ME. And that _can_ happen. See WW2 for more information.

    but I cant agree with "Too bad the US government can't be trusted to censor hate groups.." _NO_ government anywhere ever should be 'trusted' with that.

    Check out other games from Paradox (strategy first in the US)

    HOI was pretty good, but their best game is Europa Universalis II. it covers 1419-1819

    Never played anything like it before or since, and its got great fan-mods. Im still playing years later.

    They also have some other titles like Crusader Kings and Victoria, so it pretty much covers whichever era happens to be your favorite.

    (warning, a bit of a learning curve)
