Yup. But the version MS was about to release contained updates to stop the more common hacks. This hack may have been one of them.
There are other activation hacks out there that have been tested to work with SP1 RC.
This doesn't change anything, except make Hydrogen cheaper for storing energy. 96% efficency does not make Hydrogen an energy source. One energy unit in, only 0.96 units of energy out. In comparison, for corn derived ethanol, 1 unit energy in, 1.3 units energy out.
No, there isn't a problem. Id software does just fine without using DirectX components. Portability of games based on Id's engines to linux is relatively easy.
There are rumors that Valve is thinking of porting over to linux. http://valvesoftware.com/job-SenSoftEngineer.html . Note the section that says, "Port Windows-based games to the Linux platform."
The Urban Heat Island effect is not a myth. Climatologists have been making corrections for this effect for decades. In other words, the current US climate record has been corrected for the Urban Heat Island effect.
I get up at 330 am for a 5 am shift. Breakfast is a PBJ sandwich with Orange Juice. Doctor prescribed 100 mg Modafinil (Provigil) to help me through the early morning sleepies. Not a stimulant like caffiene, this drug just keeps you awake.
I see how this layout is smaller in the X and Y direction. Micro-ATX and mini-ITX have already conquered that, however. We need to get rid of the add-on cards, so it is smaller in the vertical. Expansion sockets, not slots, would seem to be the answer.
Eventually there will be a watered down G80 based card that will be passively cooled. For instance, Gigabyte released a few "Silent Pipe" cards based on some G7x cards.
An Atari 2600 stick. No base... just a stick you tilted in space. It used Mercury switches. Mercury is a liquid, so it sloshed. You didn't want to make any sudden movements with this thing. Since Mercury is a brain damaging element, you didn't want to have one of these suckers break open and spill its contents. Having a Hazmat team come to your home because of a broken game controller would be embarrassing.
You mis-understand. Let's see if I can rephrase. Think of Half-Life 2, except you are lead by the hand.
I wasn't thinking using actual movie imagery or photos. I was thinking of using a 3D engine for this. As these engines get closer to photo-realism, this type of movie would be unique experience, if done right.
This article seems to become a commercial at the end for this guys game. The author thinks the key to next gen games are more interaction. Maybe.
I would like to see someone make a 3D "game" that is nearly totally passive. It is no longer a game, but a piece of cinema. You may make a few choices, for instance to change the ending or to make something less violent. You may get the option to watch the drama or comedy unfold from "spectator mode", so you can view the action from different angles and distances. Or you can view it from predetermined camera views, your option.

Since this article is a year old, no testing on SP1, I assume.

Plans haven't been finalized... it may get an optical drive bay.
If you were a movie, what movie would you be? Kurt from Frostbite Falls, MN

Six month release cycle. Three hours of content. $10 / episode. Stand-alone (no package deals).
The main guy predicting all of these hurricanes... William Gray. He is a global warming skeptic.

Thanks.
There is a firefox plugin that makes this operation even more easy.

With randomization, add another skill you will need... adaption.
Perhaps not. But disironicalisationalism is.
Now that there is a windows driver for the wiimote, no need to port Portal to the wii. I think I'll say that again, cuz it was fun. Port Portal!

Cripes, there are still games being made for the Atari 2600. http://www.atariage.com/store/index.php?main_page= index&cPath=21_85

Turn them off yourself. You have the power.

So what kind of profit margin are we talking about with a $200 price point? Or will they be selling for a loss like Sony and MS?
Any rumors if a reputable company like Logitech or Razer coming out with a lapboard similar to this?

First there is the Legends game based off of the Torque engine. This game is very Tribes-like.

Then there is Renwerx, which will virtually redo Legends in the near future. They are looking for help.
