    As someone who worked in security (and no, not as an 'officer') he would help himself immensely by creating some kind of sign and stickers saying "This house protected by webcams" or something. The real goal should be to deter, not catch, because cacthing a crook like this is a long shot. This sort of thing isn't really conducive to catching John Doe, local professional thief, it is good, however, for catching Timmy, the neighbor's kid.

    The beauty is I don't have to understand that market to know these yo-yo's will be luck to break even. They'd better get to know their own market. Tablets, handtops, flip-tops etc. aren't exactly booming and price is one reason. Couple that with the fact that you can't find these at Best Buy and Fry's and you get the picture. Then these marketing guys will be sitting around saying, "there isn't a market for these things so sales are limited." Well, let's see...there are a legion of laptops offered UNDER this price. Most people are willing to just put up with the extra real estate. AND they get the luxury of not having their gadget-challenged friends not belittling them for paying $1899 for it. Don't get me wrong, I love it. Think it's nifty. But it will it sell? I say very few will.

    Kyoto IS a joke. So I have no issue with not joining it. And you're right, GW might be for real. But we need more evidence. My point is, why should scientists become the high-priests of socio-economic and politcal policy when they can't even agree on this issue? The truth is, the political left is using GW to gain power. When the evidence supports it, I'll be on board. But show me some independent studies. Isn't this what were are supposed to be demanding?

Global Warming just might be a joke. There are a lot of scientists on record as saying such. That they happen to be American, as you are, should not only make you proud, but should make you question the other nations' motives.

    Why is it that when these scientists concoct this "global warming" theory they are brilliant and yet when their numbers go completely wrong, they're still brilliant? I'm not saying humans haven't had an impact on the environment, but there is a lot of problems with the GW theory and the media just ignores it. I didn't read all of the posts, but I'm sure there's a Bush reference in here somewhere. This is crap. Keep in mind, people, scientists 20 years ago thought we were headed for a global chill within 50 years.

    Couple that with the fact that there are still analog requirements in data centers and offices and hte PBX is still going to be here awhile. Not to mention that VOIP isn't making the strides yet. As someone has mentioned too, routing technologies aren't there yet, as I understand it. It's really going to take the large PBX companies to break this out. Avaya is one, but what about Nortel? I'm sure the work is there but this is a solution still awaiting its time.

    What monopoly? YOu can't get away with calling it a monopoly without backing it up. SO....I'll dispell the notion. Clear Channel ones less than 10% of all U.S. radio station. Stick to bashing something that IS a monopoly, M$. Also, just so you know Clear Channel has several stations in Atlanta. Yet, their "conservative" station is on AM. If they were spreading propaganda and conservatism wouldn't you think it'd be on FM? You've been trained well, dumbass.

    Isn't mixing stimulants and depressants (ginseng and alcohol) a bad thing? There are incidences of people mixing vodka and Red Bull and actually dying. I'm sure this is due to drinking an inordinate amount, but still uppers and downers together doesn't sound like good eats.
