  2. Good on Macs Won't Boot Into Mac OS in 2003 · · Score: 1

I am really looking forward to my work upgrading my system to OS X next year and getting rid of 9. OS 9 and previous mac OS's although haveing some nice features SUCK ON THE WEB - sorry it's true. There are so many sites that ie 6 for mac (and yes I tried opera and netscape) can't run properly. I don't have a problem with them using konqueror on nix or with ie on my xp box. And just in case anyone asks - they really are all work related sites - mostly online ordering/print shop sites. Although you can try and tell me its because of the coding of the site - get over it - on OS X with ie (whihc we got to sample on one machine in the office) the sites all work fine and the OS seems a lot more effecient feeling all around so i'm more inclined to blame my mac.

  3. no prob here on Judge Says Paypal's Arbitration Rules Unfair · · Score: 3, Interesting

I've been using paypal constantly with ebay - both selling and buying - I even take donations via paypal on my website. I havent had a problem with them at all. I read through some of the old slashdot's on this and it seemed that people who had LOTS of money (ie: more than 1 grand) in there PP account somehow got fucked over but the people like myself who have $100 or less in there at any given time are left alone just fine. Maybe this is something the conspiracy people should look into - like maybe paypal fucks with the people who put alot of money in there at once because they know they can get away with it because the majority of people who run small amounts won't complain and will stick up for PP.

Are you really inerested in some kind of bragging rights to say "yeah I have a T1 look at me" or are you more concerned with bandwidth. If it's thebandwidth it won't matter if its from a split DS-3 or a true T1 as long as your speed is what you need and expect. Besides you could get a DSL line running at 1.7mbs and it would be just as good considering a T1 runs at 1.5mbs anyway.

Depending on how there software works - at my current work we use a program called "websense" (normally used to block mp3 and porn sites) but we also block external email sites like yahoo and hotmail - basically they don't want us surfing the net - anyway what I have been doing is basically VCN to my home computer and surf the sites from there. If i'm using SSH2 when I connect does anyone think they would still be able to grab that info since it is not local?

Opera is definately cool with registered copy but I have a 1.5mg connection for a reason (I am impatient) and waiting for opera to just open let alone get me from one page to another quicky (since im impatient) isnt worth it.

I don't see any reason to get married/use a diamond ring - save if your a religious person (ANY religion) and its considered "tradition" although EVERYONE has there OWN "traditions". If you must go diamond though make sure its worth it - because a lot of women DONT give back the ring if you/they change there minds.
