It should be interesting to be logged on during those last days in September. On September 1st at 11:59PM (or whatever the exact down-date is) maybe all the remaining players will have one last battle-royale, or maybe just a virtual champagne toast, fight together for something fun, and then watch as they all "die" simultanously...
I know this'll be marked -1, flame or offtopic, but I've seriously NEVER understood...
What's up with the whole "NY Times registration" hated? Who cares? So you register a fake yahoo email once. What's the big deal? You get (arguably) the most respected newspaper in the world EVERYDAY... for FREE... and it "costs" you the price of telling them your (fake, if you prefer) name. What's with all the whiney bitches?
Hopefully, someone is reading this at -1 so I can finally find out the answer...
hahahaha - "fucktard." - I'll enjoy this argument with this 14 year-old (cuz no one older than that could be such a schmuck).
i love when people's comebacks are grammar errors or semantics like my error. The lowest # electoral votes being "3" and not "2" does NOT change the IDEA of my argument ("fucktard..."). What, do you expect california to get 55 votes and Wyoming to get 0.2 votes, Rhode Island 0.3, etc? That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
"Doing the math" makes no difference. I acknowledged that there is a discrepancy in the actual vote:voter ratio ("...fucktard").
Flame on. ACs don't scare me. Bring it... ("...fucktard").
Parent is right in that less populated states have (in theory) proportionally less electoral votes, in an effort to make every America have an equal state size:electoral vote ration. Grandparent is right in that it is technically still unequal. All states with 2 electoral votes (the minimum) do not have equal populations, this there IS discrepency in the voter:electoral vote ratio.
But it's all semantics. If I had to go with 1, I'd say the parent is more right. Electoral votes are (in theory) proportional to state population size.
Civilization isn't educational like Carmen Sandiego is. I mean, in Civ, you can have Ghandii (living in Italy) start a global thermonuclear war with the Zulus (who live in the Americas).
I only say this because that was the scenario when I once played (maybe I was the Greeks, i cant remember...)
In my day, it was all about Where in the USA/World is Carmen Sandiego and The Oregon Trail on the Apple IIe's we had in the computer lab. I think we also used Logo for a while.
Although, judging from today's anal society, I'll bet your principal would have an objection to the 2-bit hunting scene in Oregon Trail.
word games? me? It was YOU who wouldn't answer a simple question. It is not only rude, but makes you appear unintelligent (which, in my opinion, is much worse).
I ask a question about your OPINION on UN policies and you refer me to the UN and make a propagandous remark about "the second berlin wall." The offer still stands. Get back to me when you have an answer to my question instead of another rant.
I know BF1942 has the new "punkbuster" program. has it worked? I'm usually right in the upper-middle part of the score rank, rarely at the top, so I never notice if the #1s are awesome or cheating. Just wondering if u guys know...
Simple solution... ever play Yahoo games? There are beginner, intermed and expert rooms to choose from. This might be something to consider in games. I find that the rooms are pretty honest in skill level. Sure, someone could troll the beginner rooms if they're good, but, from the Yahoo example, it doesn't happen (much). If you're #4 ranked, but in the beginner level, that's not much respect.
OK, you once again dodged the question. I'm "really surprised." BTW, once I saw you werent answering the question I stopped paying attention. If you want to answer my previous question (asked 3 times), feel free to and we can have a legitimate discussion. Otherwise, goodbye.
anyone else think the submitter could have written the question slightly less obnoxiously? Would asking "What are brain stimulating excercises?" (without "I am super intelligent") have produced much different answers?
wow, for some reason you really don't want to answer this one... but I'll try one more time (I figure if you dodge it again you're not worth the time)...
In your opinion, (that better?) - Does Israel have to obey an elected-then-passed ruling, even if it does not agree with it?
everyone jokes that it's taken >10 yrs to make a sequel to Duke Nukem 3-D. But weren't there like 2-3 sequels on Playstation, N64 and maybe even a current-gen system? I could be wrong but i thought i'd seen them...
Taht game single-handedly ruined what was the franchise of what was arguably the best pc game and sequel ever made (at least at the time). I hear the 4th game in the series, X-Wing Alliance, was good too (not great, but good nonetheless). I own it but I never played it (it came in an X-Wing Collection of the whole series. I just never got around to trying it...)
you didn't answer my question, only flamed the other part. If Israel has allowed itself into the supposed "worldwide democracy" unit known as the United Nations, is it obliged to therefore follow The UNs voting rulings... even if it does not agree with them?
I know it's very fashionable to bash Friends, but the episode with Penn (From Penn & Teller) as the encyclpedia salesman was hysterical. Joey wanting to talk about "Vas Deferens," "Vietnam War" and "Mt. Vesuvious" was great!
Oh, the UN has never had anti-semetic intentions (cough cough "zionism = racism")
quick question... If Israel has allowed itself into the supposed "worldwide democracy" unit known as the United Nations, it is obliged to therefore follow it's voting rulings... even if it does not agree with them?
mod me as flamebait - I don't care. I have karma to burn, and I am 100% the parent will read this, whether or not he replies...
re: your sig... You link to a site that describes "the universally condemned Israel." I won't get into israel topics, but I find it interesting that the Palestinians are not "universally condemned" as well.
Also... linking to a radical site like whatreallyhappened.com ("Evidence linking these Israelis to 9/11" - HA!) really shows your "credibility," especially when you make the laughable claim that you are "non-partisan."
same argument for doctors. sue them a dozen times, it costs you NOTHING, since many ambulence chasers promise "you only pay if you collect." It screws them too.
Simple solution... do what (I hear) they do in England. If you sue someone, and lose, then you pay for their legal fees. It is because of this that so many cases settle. If someone sues you for 25k, it'll cost you 15K for a lawyer, so you're pushed into a 7.5k settlement. Even if you win, you're 15k down (then you have to pay a lawyer to sue for legal expenses yet again...)
Mods, whatever your personal political views are, the parent is simply making an anti-bush statement. The article is about personal information being available to the public and has nothing to do with republicans or George Bush - yet there is a need by the parent to bring up his disagreement with upper class tax cuts?
I'm sick of seeing these OT politcal rants. In some/. articles pro/anti-bush ramblings are relevant (example: Bush allowing feds to monitor internet usage). But if we don't stop these irrelevant OT political posts this place will turn into a nerd fistfight.

oh wait... they did.
You're both right... and you're both wrong.

Mario Teaches Typing. That game 0wn3d!

4 words for you: X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter

My original post... "But a 1984 Mac 128K, 512K, 512KE will fetch you a bundle..."
I am sick of responding to you. It is simple: we both have different opinions on what a bundle of cash is. Case Closed.
