So indirectly, cows are solar-powered, aren't they ?

My Palm pilot has the same piece of music as a sound for the alarm clock,
(the flight of the bumblebee) and plays it just as crappily.
But at this stage I think that was not really important yet, they'll get to the 'once more, with feeling' stage later.
I've blown on saxophones and clarinets just to try and make some noise. To have a machine getting this far is actually quite an accomplishment I think.
Now they just need to work on timing & emphasis....

Hey thanks! that was a very clear reply. I think actually get it now....
So we need to find life in the universe to see if it has left- or righthanded amino acids. If it has lefthanded it could be coincidence, if its righthanded it means that the slight preference for lefthandedness wasnt big enough in that case ;).
Sjees, first they tell me God is a woman, and now a lefthanded one as well...

  16. Re:motown albums on The Death of High Fidelity · · Score: 1

YEah, I guess so :) I once read that the reason that you can hear all instruments seperately so clearly on those old Motown records is that they creatively used parametric EQ. Making a 'dip' in the bass and a corresponding 'bump' in the bassdrum allowing you to clearly distinguish between the two. Not sure if that's true, just what I read. Still sounds good to me though, and a ' permissable' way of beefing things up....

  17. Rick Rubin :) on The Death of High Fidelity · · Score: 2, Insightful

Stadium Arcadium was produced by Rick Rubin. What you describe is actually his ' style' I guess :). He's been doing it for a while too : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Rubin#List_of_albums_produced But yeah, it's disturbing to hear how good some old Motown sh*t sounded with the limited equipment they had, and now, with all our superduper digital systems, things just sound thin, dull, compressed and tiring. Most of the time they just put in too much stuff , I mean how many gated reverbs and exciters can you handle ?

I find it very irritating to find blog posts by some unemployed twat with too much time on his hands seem to matter more to Google (or other engines) than for instance the official company website for a certain product do.
So in stead of finding tech spec for something I find rants on it sucks because they dont make it in pink, sign a petition here
    I say hurray to Italy.
