The thing that kills me about the bridge scene

I bet the bridge scene was done (or conceived at least) prior to the 11th of September. That scene is so characteristic of New Yorkers that it works, then and now. It was true two years ago it will be true two years from now.
I hear a lot about the movie length discrepancy as well as the screen difference you point out. I perused the news papers and counted movie start times for the two movies by screen when possible. The count was the same or even higher for Clones. I haven't seen the longer movie=fewer showings argument justified yet. Around here they open earlier to show Clones to get more times in.
Well if you count the fact that Jango Fett's clone (AKA Padme's body guard) planted the bomb in the opening scene, then the name says it all. The clones did the attack and the defense. Clone war indeed.
I don't know about per screen, but I saw Spider-man at the first showing of the day (11 AM) and Clones at the first show of the day (9:10 AM). Spider-man never got that early of a showing. That gave it more showings per day per screen at my favorite movie haunt.
All I can say is that I thought Clones was too predictable. I knew a couple things that were going to happen but I was able to guess many of the events based purely on the snippets I saw on trailers and commercials. Oh, the dialogue was really bad IMHO. When was C3P0 reprogrammed so he lost the really bad puns. I thought puns that bad were only to be heard at my family's dinner table and thankfully nowhere else.
I'm with you. I enjoy hearing about "bugs" in movies, but one week after release is a bit much. This is ridiculous. I enjoyed the hell out of this movie. The action sequences weren't the best, but they were adequate. I thought the CG was decent, and I just sat back and enjoyed it rather than trying to figure out what was real and CG in a scene. I, at least, go to movies to see a story and escape the rat race. In that regard, I can't complain, or point out mistakes.
Except of course that the twin towers were in the TEASER that had absolutely nothing to do with the movie. Also it was a genetically modified spider. Come on, get with the rewrite.
If I understand it correctly, the kiddie factor is in all of the Star Wars movies with the exception of EP5 only. EP4 has the cutsie Jawas, and EP6 has the nausiating Ewoks. All things considered I thought that EP1 was a step up from the kiddie factor of Jedi. That being said, I think the success of Matrix and Crouching Tiger has upped the ante for the fight scenes. George almost needs to put in an incredible saber duel or three just so it doesn't suck.
While there is all the different ratings that dictate age more than in the US, if you want to see nudity (topless anyway), the kiddies (any age) just have to go to any corner shop (they call 'em news agents, I believe) and open up to page 3 of the newspaper, or check out the naturalist magazine with front cover photos on the magazine rack.
I disagree. 26% is a big difference. Consider the difference between 1st and also ran in the gold medal heat of the Olympics' 100 meters is usually something less than 15% faster than last place (unless the poor sap falls and doesn't finish). 26% is a pretty big margin. Also consider the sheer volume. 26% of 90 million dollars is indeed a lot of happy meals. It is also a lot of Hummers, Ferraris, or (insert favorite sports car). Also consider that the afore mentioned 90 million was the record, and nearly defeated in 67% of the time. Also consider that the 90 million was done on something like 8% more screens. Add it all together and that 26% is being very kind to the other four-eyed geek.
I had a lab with lots of fun stuff to play with. I recall organisms responsible for tetanus, gohnorrea (you try to spell that one from memory), and botulism. I think there is a good chance of death with 20,000 microbiologists. I don't know that much about statistics, but if you say 4.2 per 5 months is average, I wouldn't think that 5 per 5 is all that unusual. Of course I'd be able to say better if you had the standard deviation in your explanation.
The upcoming Memorial Day Weekend will cost America 2 billion dollars due to paid holiday time, double time for those who work that day, movie tickets sold and the like.
Oh yeah! now you're talking. I have a bunch of old GI Joe toys but I don't think any of my figures are original. I frankenstiened all of them. Some of them turned out REAL good. My favorite is Gung-ho's legs, firefly's body and arms and Seal's head. Touch up with a bit of model paint and you've got one bad dude. I even took the bayonet and stalk off of Airborne's assault rifle and put them on an Uzi. And my wife wonders why I want to get into case mods.
If you go to the comic book then there is more killing. I think they killed someone of pretty early in the book, something like 12 or 15. He was a great character too. That's right, Kwinn.
My sister-in-law is the perfect target for a virus. She emails file after file and I'm sure she opens them without thinking when they first come to her. I mentioned that she is aching to get hit, and she just says we have virus protection. I'm thinking she might not get the update in time for what's around the corner.
A little training might help, but there is no compensating for lack of common sense.

Very much so. It was still very cool however. I thought the highlight of the series as far as duels was Obi Wan vs. Darth Maul.

If I remember correctly, solar panels are running at about 15% efficiency right now. But who's counting?
I guess that beats a mobile island that moves because of methane. (Don't light a match!)
Of course I particularly enjoy the dubbed over offensive words. They add an unexpected element of humor to the show that the original lacks.

It is produced by M$. Then it will fix 51 bugs and add 157 new ones.

I loved the CG transformers. The episode when Dinobot dies is awesome. Much better than the original.
How about a march madness style tournament of various computers and grandmasters in a 64 person/computer tourney? Just think of the TV contract!
Sorry, I hate to break the bad news. Chromosome only have a 160 year life span.
Does this mean that Bill Gates is looking at a run for office in the near future?
