Wow, this is bringing back a flood of memories. I used to watch Ultraman with my grandad on Sat. mornings, and during the week after school there were three shows I had to see: Space Giants, Speed Racer, and this show called the Pow Hour. The Pow Hour showed Looney Tunes, and in between cartoons they had a guy in the studio with an Atari 2600. Kids could call up and play the games by saying 'Pow' when they wanted to fire. Some guy behind the scenes would push the button everytime he heard 'pow', heh heh.
Surprised no ones mentioned Space Giants though...
When R2D2 was given an award for repairing the ship during the battle in episode I. He's a FREAKING ASTROMECH droid! He's programmed to do that stuff. He's just an appliance... you wouldn't honor your toaster with a medal just because it made an exceptionally good piece of toast, right?
I've vowed not to ever subscribe to DirecTV, because of DirecTV's policy of suing purchasers of smart card programming hardware, regardless of whether or not that hardware was used to intercept DirecTV's transmissions.
That's pure harassment and barratry by a company that knows that even if it loses it can ruin its victims by running up their costs to defend themselves.
Long time lurker emerges from shadows for first post on/.
...so let's get on with it...
Please bro! Everyone knows what happens to smartcard gear as soon as it hits the average guys hands....he uses it to steal DirecTV!
Deep down you and I and everyone else know that setting up hot cards is *stealing* and that it's *wrong*, no matter what argument you come up with to justify it. And I've heard them all, believe me.
would be anything by Public Enemy.

Am I the only one that misread the headline to say 'Flickr launces drap and drop ghetto-gagging'?
NARY?
Bryce Lynch. The creator of my all time favorite 80's scifi chatacter, Max Headroom!
It won't be too long now before we start seeing blipverts.

No way. Droids was an *awesome* cartoon. I wish they'd replay it, I'd watch it.
Remember when Norton was cool?
I can't think about it. I'm still reeling over the word 'quartile'. I'm going to use it at least ten times today.
Ah.. there's too much free (legal!) music on the internet nowadays to warrant shelling out cash for 'pop' music from the big dogs.

I actually had to explain to a guy over the phone once how to click an icon on the desktop. And he'd had the thing for six months...
Only one thing could be scarier than a mob of bazooka packing kangaroos..... A mob of bazooka packing Steve Irwins! 'She's a whopper!'
Dang. You beat me to it you smeghead.
Hey - Flying Rat Brains would be a good name for a band.
Or maybe they are getting ready to release Wi-Max products???
