  3. Re:stop internet laws on Class Action Filed Against Bonzi Software · · Score: 1

those ads are not fraud. the one about the IP address is true. its a bit sensational, but its no more than everything else in the US. I dont understand why we should call this fraud to compensate for people's stupidity. just because they can click it doenst mean they should. and just because mass of AOL idiots get online, doesnt mean we should dumb down the internet for their lack of intelligence.

  4. stop internet laws on Class Action Filed Against Bonzi Software · · Score: 1, Interesting

i know we're headed stragiht for it, but we need to stop internet laws. for the past 10 years its been free flowing mass, democratizing the world. yet when something like a popup ad annoys people, they want to sue. i dont understand it. i thought the people here were against any regulation of the internet.

  6. $9.99 is NOT price gouging on Universal Music Group's New Music Sharing Service · · Score: 0

Come on! How is 9.99 expensive?! I think CDs are more than worth 9.99. Has anyone else noticed the recent onslaught of cds being released as 6.99 - 9.99? best buy especially. i think its great. I am more than happy to pay 10 bucks for a CD. im not sure if labels are realizing that price does matter.

and by the way. Downloading songs per track sucks ass. This is a big problem i have with the current state of music, they only release songs. What i mean is, singles are pushed instead of the album as a whole. yea i understand the inability to puhs an entire album and the point is for you to buy it for the single. but some of the greatest albums i know of, are great because all of the songs as a whole, make up the record. like Jimmy Eat World's Clarity. that album from start to finish, flows. you dont have that when you listen to songs randomly.

  8. New Legislation???? on Another Millionaire Spammer Story · · Score: 0

I dont get it. when i come here and someone talks about regulation of the internet for whatever reasons, political, social, whatever; everyone cringes. Yet, it seems that everyone would love to have spammers prosecuted in someway. As much as I hate the spam i get, its legal. The junk mail you get in your physical mailbox is the same as your inbox. it's as simple as hitting a DEL key. I'm sorry, i would rather take two seconds to delete the spam than to introduce legislation to stop these guys. the oxymorons here just appall me sometimes.

AT&T Broadband in Richmond, VA installed that same shit on my computer. The tech was an asshole and I told him that I did not need software on my computer to connect through their lines, he got irate and told me that if i wanted to get online i had to have this software. I said kiss my ass, signed the papers and he left. I called AT&T and got a free month of service.

Just about all of my friends have that broadjump shit on their computer and willingly dont mind. Thats how the American public is, they dont care about privacy, all they want is thier cnn.com and marthastewart.com. They think that loss of privacy is what you give up when you go online.
Look at the millions of AOL users, who PAY, i repeat PAY, to be advertised to. They see like TV, the Ad's come with the territory.
