my boyfriend is left handed..and he stutters sometimes. brilliant as HELL, but sometimes he has trouble getting certain words out.
so, hes going to hell cause he writes with his left hand and im going to hell because im gay.
Actually, if you run a program like PView, that tells you a listing of all running processes, and the location of the file, you'll be able to see which are valid and virus versions.
he asked your advice on how best to implement this. who fucking cares about how he got the money or why hes doing. either, help out or quit being dicks.
if i understand your tone correct, then here goes. if not, then i apologize.
if half of us slashdot readers knew exactly what cops go through day in and day out, we might respect them a little more. i've got two friends who are cops and the shit they have gone through while on their 12 hour shifts that rotate on a determined cycle. dont attack the enforcers, attack the lawmakers. they're just doing their job.
and to answer your question, its a communications system. its my understanding that most police offices use cell networks to transmit and receive information to their in-car laptops, which costs money. this wifi setup is a major money saver. my only concern is network sniffing. very sensitive data is transmitted across those airwaves. i imagine its much harder to sniff out cell signals than wifi, as you can purchase wifi recievers very very cheap.
if i have misinterpreted your comment, as it is easily done on message boards, my apologies. it's just that some people act like all cops are crooked and dishonest, and they are entirely mistaken.
IUMA is great. i've found out about alot of bands with that.. just as a sidenote, another great online music repository is epitonic.com not sure if you can submit, but you could check it out.
i too would like check your stuff out..can we have a link or something?
i was sitting at my desk this morning, got an IM (AOL IM). and i got some porn "spim". i used to get these all the time on ICQ, just disabled the 'feature'. but this is the first i've heard about it happening on AOL's network (don't aol and icq run on the same network?)
maybe Lolita4325 was right, if i just clicked on the link she provided, i would get to see naked sluts.
Unique to the internet. that is whats important here. we all know that sales tax is long overdue on the internet, it will come into effect sooner or later.
I had Alltel for two years and after tons of billing mistakes and horrible coverage in the Richmond, VA area. I went wtih SunCom/ AT&T. My plan is amazing. 60/month gets me unlimited calling with no roaming. its awesome!
about time they sue the individuals, the ones that are truly breaking copyright. (yes i know there are some people that use file sharing within the confines of Fair Use..i.e., owning the album you've downloaded). i would much rather them go after people then the networks themselves.
what the hell!? i was going to buy that cd on Monday, but they can kiss my white ass. I'll download it off of SoulSeek. See, RIAA, you just lost one CD sale there, and it wont be the last cd i boycott.
no, only public officials *namely our president* who are appointed to office rather than elected, whose had only 4 years of political experience, can make comments like that. people know hes an idiot.
Thats not at all what i was implying.. its just how i prefer to listen to music. LIke i said, I'm pretty much the minority. I also fear this kind of stuff. If people have the ability to buy singles, then i dont think its too far fetched to say the 'album' could eventually meet its demise.
heres my thing. when i listen to a band, i listen to each of their albums on a whole. i dont listen to the radio at all, rely heavily on the internet and word of mouth for discovery of new bands.
now, when i listen to an album, i listen to it was a single peice of art. i prefer not to listen to 'singles'. not because im some elitist prick, but because i dont like to be pushed into liking a song. while i understand that i might be very unlike the average consumer, i dont think im the only one with this viewpoint.
also, unless this product is DRM-free, Apple can kiss my ass, just like all of those other music services.
Why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam?
Did anyone else automatically get a mental picture of Samir from Office Space when they read that?
How many address will IPv6 have over IPv4?

Slashdot over IPv6

does anyone know any exact numbers of how many addresses IPv6 has over IPv4? Someone here commented that IPv6 would never run out of addreses to give out. Granted, we may never have enough machines to use all of the addresses that IPv6 would make available, but does anyone know the limit?
Allowing users to browse for services by name (in English) is a long-standing tradition in Mac networks; not as much in PC networks where everything it set up by someone in an ivory tower somewhere.
if im wrong, correct me but sounds as if, in a business setting, people setting up devices in an ivory tower somewhere, is wrong. this is the kind of operation that is desired. there are user restrictions, security concerns, etc. I dont want the users to be 'empowered' on my network. isnt that the goal of the network administrator? they should be given the tools they need to do their job and nothing else. not a flame, just an opinion.
like most here, i hate clear channel. and i rarely go to a show that Clear Channel supports, mostly because I dont listen to most popular bands.
But this would be pretty badass and I can see it exploding.
I patch my sound card into my 5.1 system. Its the same thing as buying a normal stereo or buying a crazy PC setup. this way, i get great DVD playing when i want it and select AUX to run all of my other files. works like charm.

here in Richmond, VA Comcast only charges $90 for Business Cable, 3mb down/256up. i assume market drives price.

i have to clarify..
DiVX, produces some awesome video quality. it is NO WHERE near as good as DVD.
funny, but i dont host my server from my house. ass. thats what i pay my provider for.
WORD! why does this guy only get 2 points for a well thought response with an ACTUAL argument? but idiots with the latest knee-slapper get 5.
yep.. happened to my site last night. took me about 2 mins on the phone with my hosting company and deleting and reuploading my index file.
